GRAMBLING, La. – The Jackson State Lady Tigers cruised to an 82-59 over the Grambling State Lady Tigers Saturday afternoon in conference play at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Arena.
Days after falling for their first loss in SWAC play, JSU was back to usual business as they dominated all facets of the game.
The Lady Tigers had three athletes score in double-digits with Dayzsha Rogan leading the way with 23 total points. Rogan also led JSU with six steals.
Ameshya Williams once again showed her dominance on the court, earning another double-double with 21 points, 16 rebounds, and three blocked shots.
Kristy Parker had 11 points after getting the start in today’s contest. Parker finished with five steals.
Jackson State shot 46.0 percent from the field (29-of-63). The Blue and White were 6-of-11 from beyond the arc and outrebounded Grambling 43-28.
