Trelun Banks had 10 points and seven assists while Emanuel Shepard added 10 points and eight rebounds. Chris Thomas had 12 points and six rebounds and Jared Sam finished with 10.

Prairie View A&M 70, Alabama A&M 65

After Alabama A&M (1-18, 1-7 SWAC) rallied to take a pair of one-point leads in the second half, the Panthers regained the lead for good.

A three-point play by Bellinger put PVAMU ahead for good, 50-49 near the midway mark of the second half.
