Saturday’s John Merritt Classic football game between Tennessee State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff produced a lopsided contest that resulted in a 44-0 for the Tigers.
As is the case with all HBCU classic football games, the halftime performance of both bands is just as relevant – if not more important.
Trying to determine a winner of a halftime show – as subjective as it may be – may not be a factor in the win-loss column, but the process of trying has its advantages if it’s for nothing more than bragging rights.
