Tuskegee has the opportunity to attract one of the best college football players in the country.
Multiple reports indicate Michigan star Dennis Norfleet is considering transferring from the school to play his his final year of eligibility elsewhere and Tuskegee will have a shot at recruiting him
A spokesman at Tuskegee University told MLive on Monday afternoon that the university received official permission to speak with Norfleet about a potential transfer to the school over the weekend.
The 5-foot-7, 168-pound Norfleet has been used primarily as a kick returner during his three seasons at Michigan. At the moment, he holds Michigan career records for kickoff returns (90) and kickoff return yardage (2,203).
Other reports say that first-year head coach Jim Harbaugh expects Norfleet to return for his senior season.
