Former Delaware State center Kendall Gray, who was the MEAC Player of the Year, will play for the Brooklyn Nets Summer League team.
Gray was not selected during last week’s two-round NBA Draft.
This past season, Gray averaged 11.7 points, 11.8 rebounds and 2.8 shots per game that put him on the NBA radar.
Gray’s career at Delaware State will be remembered for a game in which he scored 33 points and pulled down 30 rebounds against Coppin State on March 5.
The performance by Gray also set a MEAC single- game rebound record; and he became the first player in league history to total 30 points and 30 rebounds in a game.
