TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The Miles Golden Bears strolled into Chappie James looking for a win; instead they received an unbearable 95-71 loss at the hands of the Tuskegee Golden Tigers.
Both teams struggled early in the first to score, however Tuskegee was able to pull ahead 33-28 going into halftime.
Kevin May started the defensive and offensive attack for Tuskegee in the second with a defensive rebound and a jumper to increase the Golden Tigers’ lead to seven.
David Alexander joined the fun with a three point basket to push TU by 10. The closest the Golden Bears came was three points with 12:28 remaining in the contest. The remainder of the contest belonged to Tuskegee.
Vladmir Tilme knocked down 19-points, eight rebounds, four assists and one steal to pace the team, while Alexander added 16-points, one rebound, two assists and one steal. Lorenzo Moore exploded with 13-points, two rebounds, one assist and one block.
Maiscei Grier led the Golden Bears with 21-points, two rebounds, and two steals.
