Luther Campbell, the longtime Miami-based rapper who has been outspoken about college athletics, especially as it relates to his beloved Miami Hurricanes, has turned his attention to the Florida A&M coaching search.
He has an affinity for Corey Fuller.
Fuller, who served as interim head coach for FAMU after Earl Holmes, was among many candidates for the vacant position before being told this week he was no longer a finalist.

Campbell, who once said that black colleges should step up and save African-American athletes from “the slave mentality plantation NCAA” tweeted that Fuller should be the head coach at FAMU.

Former Kentucky head coach Joker Phillips, Fuller and Alcorn State offensive coordinator Willie Simmons were finalists for the vacant job. Simmons has since been hired by Prairie View to replace Heishma Northern.
