Former NFL All-Pro and Pro Football Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow Sr. was named the new athletic director at Florida A&M on Monday.
Winslow, 56, is expected to be introduced as the school’s AD on Wednesday, according to reports.
Winslow will take over current interim athletic director Michael Smith, who was named to the position last June.
Winslow spent time as vice president for athletics and wellness at Lakeland College in Plymouth, Wis., and was also athletic director at Central State for four years
Winslow played nine seasons with the San Diego Chargers. He earned All-Pro honors five times during his playing career.
