No. 1 North Carolina Central Eagles (25-5, 15-1) defeated the Savannah State Tigers (64-57 / OT) to clinch the regular season MEAC championship last week and then defeated the Norfolk State Spartans (76-70) to close out the regular season in the MEAC as the Eagles prepare for the MEAC tournament in Norfolk, Va.

No. 2 Hampton Pirates (18-11, 13-3) defeated the North Carolina A & T Aggies (89-71) to close out the regular season in the MEAC as the Pirates prepare for the MEAC tournament in Norfolk, Va.

No. 3 Southern Jaguars (19-12, 15-3) after clinching the regular season SWAC championship last week defeated both the Prairie View A & M Panthers (91-59) and lost to the Texas Southern Tigers (67-64) this week to close out the regular season in the SWAC as the Jaguars prepare for the SWAC tournament in Houston.

No. 4 #-Norfolk State Spartans (17-13, 11-5) lost to the North Carolina Central Eagles (76-70) this week to close out the regular season in the MEAC as the Spartans prepare for the MEAC tournament in Norfolk, Va.

No. 5 Morgan State Bears (13-15, 11-5) lost to the Florida A & M Rattlers (78-73) and then defeated the Howard Bison (68-66 / OT) this week to close out the regular season in the MEAC as the Bears prepare for the MEAC tournament in Norfolk, Va.

No. 6 Texas Southern Tigers (16-14, 12-6) sweep past their last three opponents, defeating the Alabama A & M Bulldogs (79-58), the Alcorn State Braves (77-69), and the Southern Jaguars (67-64) this week to close out the regular season in the SWAC as the Tigers prepare for the SWAC tournament in Houston.

No. 7 Alabama State Hornets (18-11, 12-6) sweep past their last three opponents, defeating the Prairie View A & M Panthers (90-87 / OT), the Grambling State Tigers (68-66), and the Jackson State Tigers (67-63) this week to close out the regular season in the SWAC as the Hornets prepare for the SWAC tournament in Houston.

No. 8 Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions (13-17, 11-7) defeated both the Jackson State Tigers (66-59) and the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils () this week to close out the regular season in the SWAC before preparing for the SWAC tournament in Houston. TX

No. 9 Savannah State Tigers (12-18, 10-6) lost to the North Carolina Central Eagles (64-57 / OT) and then defeated the South Carolina State Bulldogs (69-50) this past week to close of the regular season in the MEAC as the Tigers prepare for the MEAC tournament in Norfolk, Va.

No. 10 Alabama A & M Bulldogs (13-15, 10-8) lost to the Texas Southern Tigers (79-58), defeated  the Jackson State Tigers (72-59) and defeated the Grambling State Tigers () this past week to close out the regular season in the SWAC as the Bulldogs prepare for the SWAC tournament in Houston.

No. 4 Texas Southern Tigers (18-11, 15-3) defeated the Alabama A & M Bulldogs (81-72) and Alcorn State Braves (67-64), before losing a de facto regular season championship game to the Southern Jaguars (71-66) this week to close out the regular season in the SWAC as the Jaguars prepare for the SWAC tournament in Houston.

No. 5 Coppin State Eagles (15-13, 12-4) defeated Howard Bison (82-70) this week to close out the regular season in the MEAC as the Eagles prepare for the MEAC tournament in Norfolk, Va.

No. 6 Jackson State Tigers (14-14, 12-6) sweep past their last three opponents, defeated the Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions (65-52), the Alabama A & M Bulldogs (85-78), and the Alabama State Hornets (61-51) this week to close out the regular season in the SWAC as the Jaguars prepare for the SWAC tournament in Houston.

No. 7 Savannah State Tigers (17-13, 10-6) defeated both the North Carolina Central Eagles (74-50) and the South Carolina State Bulldogs (60-51) this week to close out the regular season in the MEAC as the Eagles prepare for the MEAC tournament in Norfolk, Va.

No. 8 Florida A & M Rattlers (16-13, 10-6) defeated both the Morgan State Bears (79-61) and the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats (67-60) this week to close out the regular season in the MEAC as the Eagles prepare for the MEAC tournament in Norfolk, Va.

No. 9 Prairie View A & M Panthers (17-13, 10-6) lost all three contest to the Alabama State Hornets (81-78), the Southern Jaguars (69-59), and the Alcorn State Braves (55-48) this week to close out the regular season in the SWAC as the Jaguars prepare for the SWAC tournament in Houston.

No. 10 Tennessee State Tigers (12-18, 9-7) lost to the Eastern Kentucky Colonels (79-75) in the quarterfinals in OVC tournament in Nashville, Tenn.
