Tarvaris Jackson, former Alabama State quarterback, is going to the Super Bowl.
Jackson will be Russell Wilson’s backup when the NFC champion Seattle Seahawks play the AFC champion Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII on Feb. 2.
Jackson was taken in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings.
The one-time All SWAC selection led the Hornets to a victory in the 2004 SWAC Championship Game.
