Former Jackson State linebacker Javancy Jones might be done with football.
According to a tweet posted on Sunday, Jones, who signed a undrafted free-agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals, is reportedly moving on from football.

Jones confirmed the news in a series of Facebook posts, though he indicated via Twitter that he currently doesn’t have an agent.

Just last month, Jones expressed excitement about getting an opportunity with the Cardinals.
“They use their linebackers everywhere,” he told the Clarion-Ledger. “They line guys up on the end with their hand on the ground, they stand them up off the line and drop them into coverage and they love to bring a lot of different blitzes.”
Jones, who led the FCS in tackles for loss in 2015, with 25.5, recorded 82 total tackles and 19.5 for loss last season.
