That's what I was really hitting at. Lol I knew you would break it down and then these folks would understand it coming from a former officer. He is a marginal student and will need some serious help. Now if he was a top notch student I wouldn't be bothered by the coaches remarks. Those academies aren't for the average kid. Folks don't realize that. You really have to be ready and disciplined for those schools.
You shole is right Cee. That was my biggest concern reading that article. I am like we all got players on our teams right now that are smarter than he is. The service academies aint nothing to experiment with. Different culture. You surely just not going there to be a ball player.
Don't get me wrong. I do agree with you that you get some numbskulls who don't know crap when they come out of those academies. I had one on my Sub. My CO stayed on his case. Book smart white boy who was rich and arrogant. But no damn common sense which affected his performance. No people skills either. I was like who let you in the Academy. We all know some of them get in because of their connections. That part of it still exists very much. Ask McCain. LMAO.
