The best situation for the SCG resurgence is to have PV represent with its starved fanbase. We'll pack that batch with 33-35K of us alone. We need to win quickly as our diehard fanbase is eldering tremendously. I wish SU was in the east lol. We'd sell that bad boy out capacity.

Quote me, please. :D

I can see that happening too. And it's right in your backyard as well???

Honestly I havent seen a SWAC Championship where Grambling fans have shown up in large numbers I know the 2 times JSU played them in BHam they didnt bring a large number of fans. No smack Kenn...

Also Duer Sharp has said before in private/public convo that he is not having a SWAC Championship game in a non-closed stadium so the further EAST schools may as well let it go because the SCG is in Houston to stay. Next up is SWAC Headquarters..

We've felt some type of way and the pressure is ON the coaching staff to get us there, quickly.

Facilities? Check.
Scholarships? Check.

So, what's the problem! Grambling and Southern out-recruiting and out-performing us on the field of play. Which goes back to coaching. ::read::

I say either one of the two Houston teams...its a long time coming. TSU and PV...especially TSU fans are the epitome of fair-weather fans...just hearing that one of the schools are playing for the ship in Houston would be a big draw!

Go on and fire him!

This is funny. It is not shocking that Grambling fans didn't show up in great numbers to face a 5-5 program that they have beaten 4 times in the last 3 years. I bring home a pretty generous salary, but I don't think I would have been up for that trip after taking a Dallas and New Orleans trip before making plans to go to Atlanta. Although they played tough, most GSU and HBCU fans knew that Alcorn wasn't going to win and decided to save money. It's not rocket science. I even heard GSU folks I know changing their minds about the trip after looking at the weather as well.

There is no doubt in my mind that SU would have had better numbers, but I don't think they would have been as great as their fans believe if the Jags were Celebration Bowl bound.
