stands and on the field, ya'll definitely have a better show, ya'll just have to overcome the number of people that bcc has, but in band case, size don't matter....

No, size does not matter, but precision, sound, and showmanship do. B-CC definately has an edge in precision and sound making them a hands down favorite in that area. 14-K is going to anihilate whoever Grambling's dancing girls are. That would give them 3 out of 5. The Showmanship is a tossup. By the way, don't underestimate Cookman in the stands either. They have been bland in the past but, what happened in the past does not mean that they can't come with it,TODAY!!! This game will be interesting, but B-CC WILL COME AWAY with the W!!!

Man I am tired of the cats not even giving us a chance against these people. Nobody gave the Pistons a chance and what happened. And I Love the Lakers. Nobody gave the Marlins a chance against the Yankees but what happened. Well ay bruh we will see won't we that Sunday after the game.

so are you saying that if you have 400 novinces against 20 true bandsmen that the novinces would win........hmmmmmmmmmmm....i think i am just going to have to question the isht that you say....i

For the record, again size does not matter!!! I just simply responded in my humble opinion, what I feel may happen, based off of what I have seen from both bands. Grambling has more than a chance against B-CC. They are a program on the rebound, and seem to be feeding off of the negative criticism from others. They certainly have NO REASON whatsoever to poormouth themselves as if they are some MAJOR underdog. Grambling is probably the best known name in Black College Football in spite of how good or how bad they may perform. When one plays Grambling, the name alone is enough to get HYPE!!! However B-CC is a solid band and probably are the most precise band out there when it comes to everybody looking exactly alike in marching and dancing. Their starts and stops are razor sharp. They perform with alot of energy and have a tremendous sound and blend. Grambling on the other hand has tradition and pride in its favor and will probably have more crowd support in its favor. They do play and dance with precision, but will need to have solid drumbreaks in their routine to pull off the upset. They will also need to come with THE ENERGY and PASSION to win. Their show format seem to be in transition somewhat, and is still being defined which is why this is an unknown factor though that could actually work in their favor, but IN MY OPINION, B-CC will probably still come away with the W, but WE SHALL SEE!!!

And now,...the game has been played.

Not often do I get the chance to talk to the band but, I can on this forum.

Having said that, I want to say that I am so proud of your performance. Now, that's the Grambling I know. You'd stepped up to the plate when many odds were stacked against you. I was tryin my best to fight back the tears!!!

I hope you current members understand the legacy of the organization bywhich you are in. Everywhere I went up there,....all the people was talking about was Grambling this ,....and Grambling that.

To BCC,....I've been studying you all summer and I want to say that I've absolutely enjoyed your sound and precission. I was also flattered when your band did a segment of the Grambling style in your halftime show.
Thanks for lettin' us use the T-bone.
Now,...see,.....that's what it's all about. friendly competition. We are all in the same boat with the same problems as well as goals. You can have a battle without gettin' thuggish and wanting to tear down each other to the point of physical confrontation.
Once again shout out to both bands on a over all job WELL DONE!!!
