All GSU do is play wrong ass notes and throw their instruments up in the air and start waving them after each song. Then each section will do a different lame dance routine in the stance. They are the LAMEST band I have ever seen in my life.

I love the SWAC but cant take up for hometeam on this one.

I can't lie CJ u know that I wouldn't take up for GSU with anything but GSU made a big come up last year and from what I hear they are recruiting pretty well. I've seen BCC and in the stands they're slaw on the field the only thing I believe they have over GSU is drilling overall entertainment I think GSU will come with it for that game.

I have been to 3 BCC games in person and seen GSU 4 times in person... GSU is BORING in the stands... The only thing remotely good I can remember coming from them is Neck. BCC's sound would swallow GSU. BCC is going to steal the crowd every game they go to... Can GSU say the same thing???

I really appreciate your opinion on this cuz I know you're out on a limb when it comes to Grambling's Band.

As for DAHILL,..... apon my return,....perhaps we can talk from a more musical standpoint instead of a regional and consumer's spectative concept.

MUSICAL standpoint??? That is where Grambling automatically loses. Honestly do you think Grambling SOUNDS good... I could care less about all the grab one leg and hop. If you think Grambling is more MUSICAL or sound better than BCC you are CRAZY.

when you saw bcc what exactly did you see???????????and why must your opinion be the opinion to shut down the polls? get a seat and watch, gram will elevate to the level you(i empasize you) that you won't expect. gram had a great showing last year and that means that the tradition Gram style fire will still be lit. the only way Gram will go down now if the band directors got fired, and the drummajors quit, the section leaders start smoking crack....it's no way that Gram should make a u-turn after the year they had last year. Dahill, i haven't had any convo's with you so i really can't tell if you just hate Gram or you just love bcc, but i can tell you one thing that after the match up, holla back....and if i have to eat my words i will...Much love Gram and don't let these hatas get ya'll twisted.

Say bruh I am not the one to be spiritual but do me a favor go read 1Samuel chapters 16-18 and come back and post. This right here is good reason why we can take them down.
 
All i know is that it is not going to be a pretty site. The Wild Cats are going to be road kill after an 18 wheeler hit them rushing to a crawfish boil on the lake in NewOrleans on the 4th of July!!!!!!!!!!! :scared:

For starters,....when recording artists go on tour,...does their music sound like the record or a live performance consisting of some sort of improvising???? BCC has a nice sound but for me that sound will put me to sleep . Sept. 18th is football season and not concert season. I need a little more bounce to the ounce. They can not and will not touch Grambling on the field. Their shows are musical but not entertaining enough to compare to Grambling's. That announcer is treading a thin line of hiping up the show and insulting opposing fans. You really don't need all that if your show is worth watching. (extra spices) Yes,... I see some fancy footwork in some of their dance routines when they are not playing. I see the strengths and the weaknesses on both sides and let me assure you that the "G" will be prepared.

Now it is obvious to me that regardless of what goes down,....your mind is already made up and that's your right. No two people are the same nor has the same taste. If I may ,....I would like to quote someone from this board that sums up what I'm trying to say to you:

i am sure of it now, he just loves bcc, he does not hate GRAM he just has bcc on his mind...i can't knock him for that but the arguement is futile from this point on....legend, just let him think his way

Alabama State vs. Howard
Alcorn vs. Howard
Tex. South vs. Morgan State

looking at this the meac is going to get killed in every matchup. Go Swac Go

It's safe for you to stop doing drugs.. For you to even think Grambling is boring is crazy.. No band in the SWAC takes the crowd like Gram playa..

I'm thinking.................and wondering,.................did I record that game because I don't remember the announcer saying that. Besides,...what do they know about SWAC Bands in the first place. If the other team is winning naturally the winning team's band is going to play more using more emotion based on the the game status.

Now.................> GSU vs BCC,.......I plead that arrangers review "The Overtone Series" I don't want to be in Ohio with my pants down!!!!!

Co-signs with Da Hill. To GSU, have you guys even heard BCC lately. Their sound is crisp and clean, and they have a mature sound. BCC executes precision in their shows, everything from marching to playing, and their dance routines are on point as well. GSU you guys are entertaing at times, but your sound quality is not as quite mature as BCC's. It should be interesting!

As a matter of fact,......I have heard and seen BCC recently. Yes,.....the sound is very much mature. I know what you mean. Mature to the fact that each instrument is playing in it's range of character. No one is overblowing. No one is playing a particular part that was written too high for their instrument. Yes,....I see the strenghts and weaknesses already and take my word for it,....we won't be going up there blind. We WILL be prepared!!!
