Thanks Spoon! That is what I was talking about.
Is the invoice price on Edmunds.com truthful in your opinion?

Spoon: TMV value may be skewed? In which direction? Is it too low or too high?

Did you pay the taxes in Colorado or when you got the vehicle back in Texas. Also, how much did the taxes break into your pockets? If you don't mind me asking.
I had this dude trying to fool me on this car and tell me, "I'm not gonna charge you taxes, becaue you are buying this over here in Alabama". This S.O.B. thought I was stupid! He still calling here trying to get me to come over there to get a dayum car. Sent me emails and pictures of the car, too.
Now, this dude out at Mossy just called me talking about he would have to order the car from Vegas.
Anyway, help me out? Answer those ?s

Mikester, I sent K an e-mail. Actually the guy in Bama was right. He could make it "appear" as though you weren't being charged taxes. I brought a motorbike in Corinth, MS and ol' boy hooked me up the same way (hid the sales tax on their paper). All I had to pay for here in Tx was the registration and titling fees.

When buying a car you have to buy right.
Back the taxes into the price.
Find a friend or relative who works for the automaker and purchase it at the employee discount.
Since Panthro was a salesperson, I would follow his advice.
