What is it with the Heat's inability to win close games against teams above. 500?

Elgin Baylor will tell you himself he never won a ring. They may have given him one as an honor but he officially didn't get one .

First off, I don't care what people on the board say, I speak for me and me alone. I already stated that Kobe won two rings WITH Pau Gasol, but you purposely overlooked that. I don't think we need to drudge up where he was before Memphis gave up Pau for a turd sandwich, but that makes my point. Kobe didn't become a lesser player when he played on terrible teams just like he didn't be come greater when he played on better teams. Cleveland's record this year speaks for itself regarding the quality of team LeBron played on.

It's hard to make that argument when he only played 9 games, but I will give him credit for this. His knee was gone and he knew he was holding back a potentially great team. There are a lot of great players whose egos wouldn't have allowed them to see that and make that decision for the good of the team. It's no coincidence that those Lakers went on a 33-game win streak as soon as he retired.

but according to YOUR logic Kobe is better than Lebron bc he has rings and Lebron doesnt. So Robert Horry is better than Kobe bc he has 7 rings, he hell got Kobe 2 rings himself bc Horry is clutch

By blowing this 24-point lead tonight against the Magic, one must ask: Do the Heat have an established identity? Who is the true leader of the pack, D-Wade or Lebron? One NBA Championship or the Most Talented guy right now in the NBA?

Obviously the Heat are searching for some consistency as evidenced by the shuffling of the lineup up throughout the regular season and this recent move of signing Mike Bibby to play point guard.

At the end of the day we are talking about a 41-18 basketball team. With that said, losing the season series to Chicago, Boston and Orlando hurts in terms of postseason seeding and whatever happens down the road in the postseason.

Could there be a rift between Wade and LeBron? I don't know. I think D-Wade not taking the last shots at the end of games like he did before LeBron got to Miami might be an issue. But this what Wade and Co. wanted.

Winning cures everything. These loses to the top teams are magnified because of what the Miami did in the offseason and the expectations placed on the team.

The Heat has a leadership and power struggle issue, also they have no toughness. Bosh is as soft as they come. I saw the game and it was in the third quarter and Bosh had no rebounds in the game at that time, at 6'11, that is not acceptable. There are games where James & Wade had more rebounds than softy Bosh. Either Bosh becomes the low post toughness the Heat needs, or the Heat are gone. They better decide whether the leader is James or Wade.

All this over analyzing sit is for the birds, simply put they are the most talented team in the NBA but also the least experience playoff team.

Until you guys who are baffled about their performance realize that talent doesn't mean success vs experience, you're going to keep on asking this same silly question to yourself.

I'll bet any of you a dime to a dollar, as bad as the Lakers are playing they will be more of a factor in the playoffs then the Heat.

I am glad to hear someone else say experience is a huge factor. The Heat will have problems with the Celtics in the East.
