Well Dam How Bout That B......

Its fn amazing that team can't break down that zone defense...that's what you get from letting kobe suspect ass coach the floor... obviously he don't see the floor as good as he lied and said he did...

Oh well

I know you're messing with em... but Kobe ain't the problem. He's actually playing really exceptional basketball...

Crazylegs ain't hiding now. LOL

This is sad... how long will it take him to post after the next 2 games?

I'm just waitin' for the excuses for this game, J4L...

LA got worked because (insert excuses over ------------->)

It didn't take me "long" to post after the first half of the series. Didn't take long for this series to go 2-2 (as predicted) either.

Man, you startin' to sound like GR... *smh*

Go ahead and start researching Boston cuz we know you'll be a closet CELTICS FAN come this time next week..... the suns will be in our rear view mirror.....

Yet ANOTHER Laker thread?!!:smh::smh:

I guess nobody gives a damn about Boston. LOL!!!

Most of these these Laker threads lately have been started by Laker fans like BRAVEHEART123, LOL. Y'all lost to the bench warmers, LOL. :lmao:

so sf,

you rekon you could talk to Phil about coaching against a zone??? *lol*

Just sayin'....

Dude they were palying at home... if that token zone holds up at Staples, then sure, we could sit down and extrapolate Jackson's ineffectiveness to coach against Gentry's zone..

Case and point, I don't disect fools gold too quickly...

Man there were 3 days between games 2 and 3 and you didn't post for a couple of those days.

LA lost because the Suns' bench stepped up. Even Channing Frye hit a 3.

Phoenix's bench has been doing that all year. LA lost the game because they didn't get the touches they normally get in the post to facilitate the triangle offense.

Their FG% has been 40-ish for both games in this series in the latter stages of the game. That's the zone. Pau got 3 TOUCHES on the block the ENTIRE 4th quarter...3.

they essentially forced Odom and Fish to be the go to guys to hit shots.

as far as Frye goes, the guy has been potent frombehind the arc all season, also. He was going to get his stroke going eventually, especially when none of the LA bigs are going to close out on the guy. He gets 'catch & shoot' opportunities, he's going to start hitting them.

I know some of y'all are in a bit of denial, but LA's in trouble if they can't get Pau touches in the post. Defensively, I don't think they're going to have the same success they had in the first two games.

Apparently Kobe agrees with you... he mentioned the poor defense last night. I tried to tell em... Phoenix has shooters and guys who can create off the dribble yet they can also catch and shoot. This causes a problem because once a guy beats his man off the dribble, the defense has to adjust...kick it to the open shooters beihind the arc and it's "money".

LA can't afford to go to a zone defense... the shooters from Phoenix are too good for that. Phillip better figure out something quick and win game 5. If not, it's over in 6 (you know the Lakers have history of quitting in tight games/tough series). Then they might be skurred of Boston!

Man,

Y'all fanboys still ain't gettin' it; They went to zone specifically to limit touches to the post. More importantly, the zone prevents the triangle from being run through the post.

Pau didn't even get TOUCHES this game. He didn't have the ball in his hands to force the defense to react.

No touches in the post = no open shot opportunities.

No touches in the post = no driving lanes.

No touches in the post = no high percentage shots.

CL ...... I'm so sorry you had to break this simple concept down to this dude...
Again my deepest apologies man... dude just don't know sports...he just like Kobe a whole lot....

I know you're messing with em... but Kobe ain't the problem. He's actually playing really exceptional basketball...

He played real good basketball ....but not the game he want to play...the zone is forcing him to be the shoot happy and pass less Kobe that kept the Lakers out of the play offs.... if he can figure out how to break down that zone and get touches to Pau....its going to be a lot of mad Laker fans on here...

Not that I care who wins that series........but it is just like Kenny Smith said. The Lakers have no bonafide point guard. Even in Chicago...Phil could count on Paxon, BJ Armstrong, Kerr......plus he had two exceptional ball handlers in Jordan and Pippen. Nobody to penetrate and dish the ball to the open man. I guess Phil may have to ask Kobe to do that. Actually that is what I would do.

Fish is too old. And he is getting borderline dirty. I still think they will win this series. I don't think their bench is good enough to beat Boston. Boston got bigs and even an extra 6 fouls with Mr. Candace Parker on the bench. LOL. All you have to do is be physical with L.A. and man up. Phil needed to find a capable young backup for Fish after last year. Too many good PGs in the league now so you can't have an old one and nobody to back him. They got a break against Orlando with a young Courtney Lee and not healthy Jameer Nelson.

The Ariza thing is hurting them in this series. He would have helped them against the Suns. He hit a lot of big shots last year in the playoffs and played great defense. This aint a good matchup for Artest. Artest is just a bully. All you have to do is just go at him hard. He aint a dominant defender like the Worm was. I said it then. The Lakers should have kept Ariza. Then got rid of those sad arse bench players like Farmar, Luke Walton and Adam Morrison. Through in Vukovich too. If they don't win the title this year. They have to clean house on the bench. No question. Dr. Jerry done got too cheap in his old age. His GM had to know that bench sucked even before the season started. And Bynum. I know he has some upside if he don't break a fingernail. But he aint hard. If Kendrick Perkins had that kid's talent. He would be dominant.

Lakers will win at home and I got a feeling the Suns will run out of gas in PHX and lose game 6. Of course I will be lmao if I am totally wrong.

You know damn well Stern wants Boston vs LA in the Finals. The NBA needs that to happen.

Yep... I look for him to try and get into the tooth of the zone and try to create some trips to the line. Kobe's crafty and he better be because looks like them other guys done got their confidence shook. I know one thing... Damn Stoudemire been kicking Gasol's azz on offense. Where's Odom? Guess they figure Stoudemire would go for 50 on his azz.

Excuse me for just a moment.

Could all of those C's fans that had their heads up the Suns azz come out and explain what happened tonight? I thought Orlando was dead the way y'all were worrying about the Lake show.

Maybe something is "Bruin" in Boston ..... again. :shame:

Anybody home? I can't "C" anybody :lmao:

Oh, the Suns are dead in the water according to the NBA "prophet" known as Tim Donaghy who predicted that both the Suns and Magic would get back in their respective series.

Donaghy said that the way the playoff series have played out confirm his theory on how officials extend series by giving the trailing teams an edge. Donaghy said they're trained that way because it allegedly helps the league.
