Troy fan support in Montgomery.
If you take your premise on Troy, you could kinda see what you are saying if Troy had 4-5K people in Montgomery for the game, but nobody comes to that game from Troy but the band! You don't think that's because of what I mentioned earlier?
And as for the ASU game, I was there and I didn't see all the black and gold revelers you speak of. I saw just as many if not more Troy State revelers, so that all sounds good coming from you, but having been to every game Troy plays against ASU in Montgomery and Troy and FAMU in Troy, what you are contending is dead wrong. If you was from FAMU I would say that, yes FAMU had more fans then Troy at the playoff game.
You covered everything except Troy fan perception of ASU and just plain lack of interest in going to Montgomery for a game. You say Troy travelled to Mobile. That's because it was FAMU and they have developed a great rivalry(short-lived) with FAMU (and they were still smarting from getting beat by FAMU in the playoffs). People in Troy (white people) had that game circled.
Lastly,,, whoever is talking about "the difference between the smack board and the this board",,,,,, this ain't smack, I simply disagree with everything coming out of ASUer's pie-holes and they disagree with me. We're having a lively debate just discussing in-state business. ain't no smack (at least not from me).
