Tad Gormley is in City Park in N.O. I know it was renovated for the Olympic Trials back in the 90s. Tulane played a game here a few years ago.

Mike, Valley would be the perfect game for Gram in N.O. Valley has always recruited kids from N.O. as well as Gram. The alumni should push on this one.

I think the last two years Tulane has played a game at Tad Gormley. They Played NWST and Navy there. Think the Navy game was homecoming. It gave their fans an opportunity to tailgate before a game. If you haven't been to the stadium it's in the heart of city park with hundreds of old/huge Oak trees. Idea for outdoor cooking with plenty of shade to block the heat. The local high schools big games/homecoming are held there and the high schools BOTB also. A perfect place for a Gram and Valley game because it only seats approx 30k, not good for a Southern game though.

That depends on who the opponent is...post the attendance numbers from the past SU/JSU games in the dome. I'm sure it is in the 45k range but that would be about the same if it was Grambling/JSU. Now if the jags played MSVU, the game would be better suited for Gormley (same as with GSU and Valley).

Perhaps you can recall the SU attendance numbers when you played Valley in Shreveport. Granted, S'port doesn't seem to draw well for college football, but my point is that the opponent has a lot to do with it.

How did I know you would be the one to post first, my friend.:wavey: All the JSU games attendance would have exceeded the stadium capacity, but some of your home games with JSU would have been a perfect fit if not all of late for Tad Gormley. As for us playing games in S'port it's all politics. I've been against playing or having anything in that city from the begining. Apparently, others feels the same way I do because the attendance numbers reflect that. It 's other reason which I don't wish to discuss on the thread why S'port is not a great place to play. You all are closer than we are and how have y'all done?, should tell you something.:lecture:

See you soon, still drink the same thing. Just don't offer an invite to SS.:shh:

GR is so sick of these ignorant negros trying to do something they cant do. You cant force things on the public that they dont want to see. GR has said it once and he will say it 1000 times....EVERYBODY CANT PARTICIPATE IN NEUTRAL SITE CLASSICS. What part about that do yall NOT understand? All of this ignorance of trying to have classics in California and other places where people dont even know you exist needs to stop. You dont even have the business savvy to pull this off.

Look, there are 3 schools that can have successful neutral site classics:
Jackson State #1
FAMU #2
Tennessee State #3

The rest of you need to stop trying. If you want to have a successful game, one or both of these schools has to be involved. If you think the real reason yall got the boot again was because of that boring ass band, GR has some prime land in Florida in would like to unload on you.

Coach Bell, I blame you for this.
