Yes, that's fairly standard, but the point that's being made is that a pattern of behavior isn't evidence of criminal activity in this particular case. They could introduce 100 similar allegations and it would do nothing to confirm what happened between Cosby and Constand.

The evidence was court documents related to a civil suit that Constand filed against Cosby after prosecutors declined to seek charges against the comedian.

Constand settled the civil case against Cosby in 2006.

This past July -- nine years after the civil case was settled -- a judge decided to unseal Cosby's deposition in that case in response to a motion by the media.

Apparently. But if she didn't give consent to sex, touching or whatever, it doesn't matter.

The night Cosby allegedly assaulted Constand, she told police that he called her and said they were going to discuss her future career plans. She arrived at his home around 8:45 p.m. At some point, Cosby said “he wanted her to relax” and gave her three blue pills, which he told her were “herbal.”

Cosby insisted that she drink wine afterward and within 30 minutes, Constand said she experienced blurred vision and difficulty speaking. She told police she’d “lost all strength in her legs” and felt nauseous.

He has too much money to lose the criminal case, to me the end game is to take him to court but when he wins the criminal case, they will fly back in court for a civil case, where the women will win and get a bunch of money. I think they were women trying to get a come up back in the day, he did the same thing a lot of white men were doing, but he isn't white so he will have to pay in civil court
 
More court room drama to me. When bitter women realized that they can sue someone as a mean of retribution because they didn't succeed in life, the flood gates were opened. Sad thing, Black men are paying for the past evils of White men. Still today, the media has yet to admit and criticize the late Strom Thurmond for raping and impregnating his family's 16 year old housekeeper. Rape had never enter the conversation when the country realized he had a bi-racial child living in California. Clearly it was rape if he was 22 and she was just 16 or at least carnal knowledge of a juvenile. He was allowed to live out the rest of his life and serve in the U.S. Senate. Not one outcry that his family's 16 year old female housekeeper was probably tortured by Strom Thurmond.

I wonder will they even be able to get that submitted as evidence since it was a sealed deposition during a civl trial.

The thing that surprised me was how he got a 1 million dollar bond for this and you got these folks charged with murder that get bonds a lot lower than this.

You know when the media attacks Black men with no CONCRETE evidences, basically with he say she say mess, there are a lot of us who like to join in on the attack conversation as if they were there, while old perverted goats like Cliven Bundy and Strom Thurmond continue to freely roam through Black communities molesting and raping Black women everyday. Seems like our Black Feminist would be on top of this and call out these old WHITE perverted goats for their perverted actions, but I guess that is too much like right. I can remember this bi-racial child who grew up across the street from my parent's house. Her biological father was some wealth WHITE man with a wife and children. She never had a relationship with her White father and was raised on the State's welfare system. Now if her father was Black, he would have been made to pay child support or put in jail for not supporting his children, but it seems like affluenza White men are exempt when it comes to supporting their outside bi-racial children. No wonder why there are so many social illness in Black communities in this country. And I'm sure there are plenty of Cliven Bundy's and Strom Thurmond's in every city in America. I'm pretty sure most on here have seen and heard of them in their cities or towns. Also, Bill Cosby didn't help himself when he started saying that Black women should have MORE RESPECT for themselves. I'm sure Black Feminist could easily work with every State's Social Services Departments to determine exactly how many bi-racial children with absentee affluenza White fathers in each State are being supported by the State's welfare system. It seems like the taxpayers in this country should be tired of supporting the social mess created by affluenza White men.

Defending a rapist with this much vigor is part of the reason why women and girls don't come forward after being raped, which allows so many men, white and black to get away with such crimes.

This post is spot on. Some people can't tell the difference between Cluff Huxtable and Bill Cosby. They're only defending him because he's black.

I have no doubt Bill Cosby is an egotistical, manipulating, pompous jerk. You don't earn as much money he has made being a nice guy. I believe he has drugged women and taken advantage of them because of his arrogance on many occasions. Furthermore, he has proven if you treat people like shit eventually it will come back on you. However, I still don't see any proof YET that Cosby drugged and rape Andrea Constand in HIS home. Now we can do what we normally do around here, argue on opinions and who ever the most belligerent wins. Nevertheless, the facts have not shown YET that he raped Andrea Constand in 2004. A person is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty and not guilty because we don't like him.
