Never mind...

2010-2011

AAMU 937
AlaSU 883
AlcSU 927
GSU 917
JSU 888
MVSU 905
PVAMU 893
SU 909
TxSU 811
UAPB 928

The teams in bold were below the old threshold of 900, but AAMU is the only school in the conference meeting the new requirement of 930. Does that mean that if the scores remain stagnant, no other school could play in the SCG?

No, because unless the NCAA bans them, the SCG ban won't go into effect.

JSU should be banned just for producing these annoying posters on this board. man they cry more then a new born pig.

If you equate "crying" for standing up for one's beliefs, then we are who you say we are.
President Meyers simply told Rudley exactly what he's probably going to regurgitate to the NCAA and label them as being HIS findings.:emlaugh:

I'm glad I attend a school who have fans who stand up for their rights and beliefs instead of some who are willing to lay down and just take it.
If none of the HBCU folks spoke up, the NCAA would've continued on with their separate but unequal APR tactics. Yall need to thank JSU and a couple other HBCU's for sticking our necks out so your school could continue to play D-1 sports without being penalized.

Rudley's term on this advisory committee ended two weeks ago...and by the way the reason JSU was able to go the the SWAC champ game in 2012 was because of Ridley on this committee...know what the **** is really going on first people!

Please woman. JSU got it's APR score up to par and petitioned the NCAA long before Rudley was on any committee. Some folks just like making up stuff.

I can't believe how simple some of these college educated people are to have to openion that Rudly being requested to head this committee by the NCAA is in any way Rudley "CRYING" about TSU's APR situation. Have you all forgotten, TSU was noted last year for it's APR increase? Talk about special!! People this has is not, I repeat IS NOT about jsu. I know it's hard for some of you to comprehend but I say again NOT about jsu. This is so much bigger than any one HBCU including TSU. Although, this is something all LRI may all benefit from.

If they would not have recruited the dummies they would have been in the SCG. From the looks of it dummies are not to rare in Jackson.

Nobody said it was about JSU. I'm saying it's about hypocrisy. Can I say it again?? H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-S-Y!!!!! The man is complaining about disadvantages he didn't take into consideration when he clearly had the chance to do so. It doesn't matter which team was being banned. He still voted in favor of APR sanctions when he KNEW there were glaring disadvantages inculcated in the APR system itself. THAT'S my point. Now he's suddenly singing a different tune.

He could not have done anything about "disadvantages" with that vote. Yall are ridiculous.

I think the point is that he knew he disagreed with the system but voted to ban other teams based on said system. If he had a fundamental disagreement with a policy, why would he vote to punish someone because of that same system? It is illogical. Especially when his school was severely below the threshold. Once again, he is claiming to be poor and unable to fend for himself, but when the other schools were on "trial" he said damn them...

THHAAAANNNNKKKKK YOU!!!

Maybe, since a non-JSU person said it they will get it.

I'm so disappointed in J4L though...he usually can grasp simple stuff a lot faster. What gives?! :noidea: :emlaugh:

The problem with your argument is that SU, JSU (and GSU basketball) were already BANNED by the NCAA based on the unfair criteria. Nothing done with THAT VOTE was going to change that nor was it going to change the criteria used.

The SWAC vote only gave clarity about whether the SCG was a part of the NCAA ban on postseason games.

:retard:

:lmao: :lmao:

:smh:

I understand y'all's point but what you can't understand is that no matter what the vote was it wasn't going to effect LRI's the discussion didnt start gaining momentum til after the NCAA raised the bar which was clearly after the vote to ban southern and jsu this is something that can benefit any school and some reason y'all still find a reason to cry this is not about tsu or southern and jsu if you don't like who is representing our schools send a letter to your presidents and tell them to step up. Sheshh
