LAW DAWG
TSU LOVE
dude...trust me..PV was in worse shape than TSU...way worse shape....ask anyone who had suffer with that
Rimm was the 4th coach in five years, we did not offer full rides like people thought, (began offering more aid in 2003) recruiting suffered horribly due to personnel changes of 7 players a year, we had walk-on guards as our starters...we only had 1 full-time assistant until 2008 while TSU always had 3....Rimm got his head beat in for 2 years while Harvey had enough to get to the tournament along with Moreland.
Harvey dumped his staff from last year...that was his fault...he can do that....
Also...I grew up more on TSU than PV so I've seen the highs and lows of both...trust me...TSU has always been ahead of the basketball curve compared to PV...that 1998 NCAA bid was a fluke as TSU blew a 20-point lead...in 2003, we won because we had a good x and o's coach and some senior talent who could play...that was our highlights since the 60s while yall had NCAA bids, NBA talent, brand new arena, etc.
We finally have a coach who knows what to do to be successful in the SWAC and we have the things in place now to be successful....he rolled his sleeves and got dirty...
we basically fielded an intramural program then.....you just don't know
Yes I do know, who didn't? I had to get you away from playing games first. Going back and forth about who had it worse is for defeatist. My point simply is that T. Harvey walked into bad situation, and that given very recent changes he will have to produce. In the future I look forward to enjoying conversations about which team and program is the best regardless of the depths they climbed from.
