It won't matter if we beat them all. It will be the same old complaints.. "our players were hurt'' or " if we had played three weeks ago." Just know something: we don't care who or what we play. Bring a team full of all-stars or a team full of scrubs. We will beat either one or all. We make no distinction between them. Just know if you are on the field facing us the outcome is the same.

Becareful what you wish for. Maynor has supplied JSU with plenty of board material. I feel sorry for y’all this upcoming season is all I’m going to say. Goodluck.

5-5 and 4th in the Swac east it is. Fall is coming lol. You needed to gut that defense inside out but for whatever reason y'all thought it was good. O well lol

I told you all year that it was bad. It had to be bad for JSU to get 43 points. But my suspicions are that it will be better this year and give our offense a margin for error.

It will be just as awful. Y'all needed 22 new guys on defense (since the best one y'all had left).

I hope so. This ain’t spring ball. JSU vs AAMU has game of the year potential with the storyline. I would hate to see ole Maynor fold like a lawn chair on homecoming. Pressure… Expectations… this is the territory that comes with being a champion. Goodluck.

To beat good teams, you have to believe you are good enough to do so. If you don't, you won't play hard enough to win. Our philosophy is that other teams need to believe that they have to play hard to be us. It puts the psychological burden on our opponents.
 
Sanders and Simmons came in talking junk. A loss in game one of the season puts the loser in the hole. It's one thing to say " I believe" it's another to put it in to action. That's a lot of pressure to put on a Freshman QB who has never played one down in a College football game.

I sure hope all these transfers don't think other teams are just going to roll over for them.

Don't think Coach Maynor was pleased about the points we gave up and the ones we left on the field.

I know you guys are smart enough to know Coach Maynor has not just been sitting back and enjoying that championship.

The only things we needed were to keep our offense on the field more than our defense and to score one more point than our opponent.
