Sanders and Simmons came in talking junk. A loss in game one of the season puts the loser in the hole. It's one thing to say " I believe" it's another to put it in to action. That's a lot of pressure to put on a Freshman QB who has never played one down in a College football game.

I sure hope all these transfers don't think other teams are just going to roll over for them.

Don't think Coach Maynor was pleased about the points we gave up and the ones we left on the field.

I know you guys are smart enough to know Coach Maynor has not just been sitting back and enjoying that championship.

Hes been groomed for this so he'll be fine with a brick wall in front of him.

Whether they roll over or not doesn't matter if they aren't as talented. Typically the most talented teams (especially along the lines) win.

Well he didn't do a whole lot to fix that defense. Brought in around 10 guys there but needed 22.

You can have all the practice, all the "I believe", all the " This ain't the same team you gonna see in the fall" you want, but it's different when the guy looking across the line from you isn't your roommate or your friend.

Shedeur has never been backup first and foremost . Also most of these guys have played significant minutes at a P5 so it doesn't matter who's across from them. Yall can say whatever you want but there will not be a more talented team hitting the field this Fall in the Swac. Most of you struggled with what we already had in the spring when only 4/5 of his guys played. Well about 70 more ready to go now.
