This shh is just sad ass coaching

So you're specifically talking about Tua? As I said... personnel change, not a philosophy change. He is averaging 26.5 pass attempts per game. Hurts averaged 23 last year and 27 the year before. Even Blake Sims threw it 32 times a game!

Tua is just a more efficient passer, but Saban is still operating within his same philosophy.

No..you can go back to Blake Sims. It really started when Saban brought in Kiffin.

The offense has changed. It Evolved! LoL.

Anybody can see this. Saban Philosophy on defense had to change to. He still is stop the run but they have 3 Down Lineman now instead of the traditional 4-3 look.

He has Evolved like Great Nachos! Remember folks use to melt that Government cheese 12times to get it just right. Now We can buy Nacho Cheese in a Can. Lol

What did Banks tell you when you asked him that question?

I agree, even when Hurts was at the head, Hurts was a whole different QB under Lane, Lane left, Hurts went down.

Bama was built off the running game more so, with maybe a nice WR to hit you with the play-action here.

Lane came in and Bama started recruiting more than 1 5 star Wr, and TE, they were featured in the offense more so.

Lane came and re-vamped Saban's offense while still maintaining it's identity
THANK YOU!

The Baker of 25yrs actually listen to another way to bake that same cake and now He is a Championship Cake Baking Sumbitch!!!

Manna from on High!!!! Hallelujah!!!

Bama still runs a base 4-3.

And even McCarron threw it 28 times a game.

Banks never asked me for any money

Cliche talk you do, "we need to get together and we need money" Cliche ass talking points that black ppl start and love to do when discussing real things that can move the needle a bit,

When one ask about details (streaming platform, cuz I asked you) you can hear a rat piss on cotton, of what all that goofy stuff means, when you say we need money, for what? what is it that we need money to do? (which I did), ngas start to talk in circles and make goofy comments like this one here.

In other words you don't donate shit to the program. You just like to talk shit about it.

I got you. Carry on.

I'm lost here ...

Are we talking about on-the-field Xs and Os execution, or are we talking about things that ADs are supposed to work for to help their coaches succeed?

Can't fault the coach completely on execution. Players have to execute.

You can fault the coach for the gameplan and adjustments.

The nutrition and other creature comforts, that's on the AD to provide for the teams

Breh stop that, that's what women do. You wanna stand tall so bad. stop that and talk like a grown man instead making goofy ass comments about nothing.

We trying to discuss things and you in here asking me about another man on some silly goofy stuff, that's what black ppl do when ppl try and come up with solid solutions, post goofy stuff. Spewing a bunch of catch-phrases that don't mean nothing

A little bit of both, both goes hand in hand. Xs and Os, I started off with it in the OP and it shifted towards the A.D. talk

You gotta keep in mind that ppl only see football from on a surface view

I use to say in here a long time ago when I was Rogue(Lol) that folks gotta stop watching the bands and start watching the actual game on the field. Specifically the LOS. That's where the game is on and loss. It's a Beautiful game to watch when you actually watch the game.

I just want Us to not get Kilt against other FCS teams with less paid coaches than Us. That's all. Maybe I'm wrong. LoL.

Well, if you want to be petty about it...lets.

Go back and look at the first post. Read it (if you can). It looks like a grown man who is bitchin and incapable of making a complete thought. People like me are here to help you gott dammit. We are here to save you from yourself. You don't know it all; nobody on this board does. But you -- by far -- are NOT the sharpest tool in this shed. It shows with every post you create. And some times it would behoove you to simply shut the hell up and just read so that you can learn something. That's what grown men and women do.

When I speak of innovation, I'm talking about hiring coaches with the ability to understand science, technology, engineering, and mathematics aka STEM to help give his players a competitive edge. Most HBCUs have those resources available, such as engineering and physic programs. I remembered Doc Greggs telling us how he got a Civil Engineering student to help him determine some of his drill formations. I think too many our coaches are like Black preachers. They are always looking for some miracle to win games they are clueless on winning.

I would love to give our coaches this simple physics discussion on momentum in sports and see how many truly understand. Also, see how many can correctly answer the questions at the end.

Physics in the classroom.

J89, during my early years on the Forums, I mentioned how I think football players should be mandated to take some type of analytical class (Physics or basic Physical Science, Geometry, OR Statistics). I also posted that coaches should be mandated to attend a coaching training, if not yearly, every 2 years, with emphasis on the analytics of football AS WELL AS the kinesics.

I still hold this belief and would love to see my UAPB do this.

Our problem is, we have become hustlers for money by any means necessary and less of people who can think realistically and innovatively. The money we do generate flows immediately into someone else's hands. If we could do stuff ourselves, maybe we can MANAGE and control the money we generate, but that would require a drastic shift in our philosophical way of thinking. Right now we are just PURE money hustlers prayering for some miracle to happen. I'm engineer who has designed several different types of projects and the way I see it, if I can design it, I can build it. Money is just another tool that makes my task easier.

What does that mean, evolved in preparation??

How does one do this??
for instance. I went to the lsu v. la tech game a few weeks ago. lsu showed pressure & la tech's qb saw it and flipped the protection so the rb would pick up a free blitzer coming from his right. lsu responded immediately by backing the safety they'd brought down back into coverage and bringing the other safety into the box. lsu got the sack.
qb's in this league often don't account for pressure pre-snap and make adjustments and DC's in this conference certainly don't coach their defenses to adjust to offensive adjustments. that is preparation.

What's gets me is that the information is available to these Coaches via YouTube or Google. You can go watch Scott Cochran's training prgram and others on YouTube and implement it in Your S&C Program. You can find Football Position based Diets for Your entire team also be on Google.

It's just a matter of Going Look for these things.

You can mentioned self help technology like Youtube until you are blue in the face. We have been conditioned to hustle money so that we can pay others to do what we are too lazy to do for ourselves. And the sad part, others probably won't do such a good job. Basically, it is that type of philosophy that runs our football programs.

Also, the same questions in the link I provided would be good pre-screening questions when hiring a football coach. At least it shows they probably can go beyond football to find solutions to some of their problems.

Can you be specific? What other athletic programs are doing what you suggest? I'd really like to know.

You talk about "self help" technology which essentially only helps one's self. How does it benefit your entire program?

Do you know how the sports drink GATORADE came about??? Hint: Gator

If our coaches could think beyond football, maybe they could find ways to beat other FCS programs. A below 0.500 Northwestern State shouldn't be stumping the dog crap out of our top programs.

Also, when I moved to California, I was shock to find out that a lot of Black people there hired some maid service to clean their homes. IMO, pure laziness.

Now coaches gotta invent sports drinks and take advanced courses to win football games.

This shit ain’t rocket science. Hire quality coaches. Recruit good players and develop them. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

No coach invented Gatorade. It was the students at the University of Florida that did, but I'm sure UofF's Athletic Department encouraged them to do such. A program thinking outside the box looking for ways to give its student athletes a competitive edge. Also, I'm sure it didn't cost them that much money since they used the resources right there on campus.
