o ok i see it must sumtin in the water down there...Alcorn hasnt contributed nothing sports wise in almost 20 yrs to the SWAC...And the school shares a bootleg award with Paul Quinn a school that was on the verge of closing the year they won it but if u are proud of that then kool. And JSU fans and alum hate Tn State Southern Grambling Bama St you know schools we actually respect. No one from JSU respects Alcorn or even considers Alcorn a threat in Anything...let me repeat u guys arent good at anything remotely sports related..

Now if there was a farming sports event you guys would win that but that's it...

Across the Board, Alcorn has won more SWAC Sport Championships than JSU in the last 20 years. We win just one in this current SWAC football format, its over with for JSU.

Alcorn mostly brings Positivity to SWAC Football in Mississippi when JSU always seem to bring Negativity to SWAC Football In Mississippi. Everytime JSU seems to represent the Mississippi SWAC in something, they always make us in the state hang our heads with the end result :smh:

I will never forget that night I turned to BET and what I did I see? Veteran's Memorial Stadium....FAMU 45, JSU 7.

Was straight embarassed for the whole SWAC as a conference that night...:smh::smh::smh:.

6 winning seasons out of 18 years that's real = NO RESPECT.:emlaugh:

You sound like a disgruntled republican...the fact remains JSU is 1-3 in the SWAC Championship Series (And we arent proud of that) while Alcorn and Valley never have been. You come on here every month with a cry for the someone to respect Alcorn when you have done nothing to earn respect look at this Thread Title....u guys got beat this yr by Valley 33-6 (yes they are still Valley:devil2:) and u want to come against JSU..Please you should be banned from talking football..

Name one reason anyone should be worried about Alcorn in the 2013 season? and JSU just stole a recruit from Alcorn backyard 2 weeks ago and he probably wont play til 2014..

See TSPNers, no matter how many Championships or how many times they beat Alcorn, Alcorn will always be more Nationally known for exposing they POSITIVES OF SWAC FOOTBALL IN MISSISSIPPI. We exposed the Mississippi White Folks to the Best SWAC Football Can Offer in Mississippi, not JSU.

FAMU is not the only school someone has to play to get a big crowd. If SU and JSU decided to move their game to the ATL against each other. I think that would be a draw. If Bama State played JSU in Atlanta, I think that would do well. Jackson State vs Tn State if they ever moved it from Memphis would do good in the ATL. Bama State vs Tn State would probably do well. Not sure if BCU would do okay there.

Right now even FAMU can't pack that Ga Dome anymore without help. That game was already getting stale somewhat is the reason why they wanted to change the opponent for FAMU. Now unfortunately SU was in year two of Stump and folks just have gotten so damn complacent within the Jag Nation about traveling that they did not come to Atlanta with 90s or early 2000s type crowd. But neither did the FAMU folks either. Last year we knew it would be a drop off without the 100 vs the Jukebox battle. These Classics have taken the fans for granted across the board. Even these Bowl games ain't selling out at the FBS level like talking about. It is going to be hard to get the numbers back up to the hey day of these Classics.

Folks don't mind being in these cities to party. But the game is secondary. Poor Circle City Classic has even dropped off to nothing.
