It could be argued that Deion chose mediocrity.

Colorado was among the worst teams in the FBS. Valley won more games last year. And that school doesn't have nearly the resources Colorado does.

And he chose them because they were the first white school to offer him a bag.

All this bullshit about impacting young black men and being a symbol for black coaches is nothing but a cloak to hide the fact he was all in this for his ego and money.

Its like running. I am a runner and I do races of various distances.
For some runners, their goal is to finish first and hit the podeum afterwards.
For other runners, their goal is to beat their last race time.
For other runners, their goal is to merely finish injury free and enjoy themselves.
All doing the same thing but all with different goals.
One is no better than the other, its just what appeals to you.
