The Phoenix Suns Will Not Beat The Lakers...

Trp...I was being generous in my prediction. Suns could easily win in 5.

It would be a damn shame if the fLakers got swept.

I don't think the refs will let LA get swept....you how they be acting when it comes to LA..
But you are absolutely right...this Laker team really had a cake walk..they played Utah when they weren't at full strenght..we all saw what Okalhoma did them...the dude that took 2 mvps from Kobe is about to light Kobes ass up ...this is going to be a good one..

JAX you really need to stop igging people on, they already on the edge of a cliff, you know it want take much.

Anyhoo I know basketball and if it wasn't for Andrew Bynum saving Kobe azz again last night, they would have gotten blown out.

Kobe is still the better player, because he's more clutch and also I agree with what you stated. LeBron has closed the gap if not surpassed Kobe in terms of physical "unstoppableness". Part of it is due to limited offensive coaching instructions and Part because just as you stated, he simply didn't take over.

Man, you can't worry about what people gonna say...even your teammates. Kobe may pout sometimes (early post Shaq years) and act like Scottie Pippen to prove a point, but he will take over a game. LeBron ain't there yet... he gets caught in a system and won't say "shit on what Coach said, imma run this like this". Kobe and Paul Pierce are the only two guys in the upper echelon (perimeter guys) who still have that mentality. Give me the rock, damn runniing plays...Imma win it. Pierce doesn't have the athleticism of Kobe and Lebron but that "gimme the rock" mentality is why he has a championship. It's why Kobe has one (post Shaq) and why the Lakers have to still be the favorite win it. (DAMN!!!!)

Post game, Charles Barkley pretty much echoed what I said. He mentioned that guys like Jordan, Ewing, Malone, etc at the end of the game had no more bullets left in their guns. If you the man on a team...you gotta be the damn man on the team. Big games like this you take over...plain and simple. Tonight LeBron didn't do that.

Is he still the MVP? Yes, his stats warranted that...but he's not the best player in the league. He still hasn't DONE IT!

Jax you shole is right man...Gasol and the Lakers just may be in trouble series...I think Nash is going to go MVP on Fisher....this may be Gasol and the Lakers final stop....

I been telling people this for years.

Its why I rank the Top Players like this.

1. Kobe
2. DeWade
3. Lebron

Winning that championship MEANS alot because if you are gonna do it as a perimeter guy, you have to take over games with jump shots in clutch times. Kobe & DeWade has done this when thier teams needed them MOST. Time after time they drained that jumper in the mouths of Defenses who packed it in quarter court style. Even when the opponent would score right back on them, they'd come back and do it all over again & over AGAIN.

That takes MAD skill and mental toughness to do. Lebron hasn't done that yet, which is why he doesn't deserve that name "King" James...what crown does he have?

He hasn't won a Championship.:retard:

Although I hold LeBron "accountable" (after all, he's the "guy" and the "guy" has to step up), his coach isn't good strategically. Bad move putting LeBron on Rondo... Rondo ain't gonna hurt you "that" much scoring wise. Let him keep Pierce in check and also PUT LeBron in the post up game on Pearce to draw fouls. Then if you want him on Rondo when Pearce goes to the bench you can make that switch on a few key possessions.

Mike Brown is not a good stategist...it's all about taking advantaged of certain matchups. Stopping Rondo isn't crucial to beating the Celtics.

I was just talking about this on another forum. LeBron is a great passer, he has tremedous size...why isn't he being used in the post? This is where Jordan & Kobe go when that outside jumper isn't falling. I don't understand why they don't do this...its so obvious.

Also...why are you feeding the ball to Shaq? He isn't that type of player anymore, just wasting possesions.:shame:

M. Brown fails

Speaking of that garbage ass shaq wanna be...Bynum won't be able to handle Amare.

Mb.

Lemme answer your question:
First of all lebron doesn't have a post up game. He does not have a turn around jumper. That weapon hasn't been added to his game yet. With lebron its either chunking up 3s or getting all the way to the basket.

Secondly when shaq is in the game he is the only one that can post cause he can't leave the lane. I don't understand why they don't post up jamison and put Z in the game and let him shoot some 3s.

It will be a travesty if the cavs don't get past the celtics. Lebron might leave ole Cleveland

I agree with your entire post. I blame Mike Brown for alot of this. Lebron has to take his own responsibility to continue developing a low post game and having a mid range game. He has to learn how to physically abuse people with his size and strength on more than dunks and drives to the baskets. Back some mofos down. As you said, if they had put Z in there that would open up opportunities for that. Lebron would get double teamed and since he is good passer he could get it out to the open man, which means Z and those tweener guards.

Cleveland is flawed in several ways. Coaching, no true point guard, no true light it up wing player that is at least 6'5 or taller. Parker aint it. Danny Green is a rookie street clothes for whatever reason. The rest of the guards are barely 6 feet. Mo can't guard a true 2 and he is too slow to guard a true point guard with some skills. Delonte West is average and Boobie Gipson is another one who is a shooting guard in a point guards body. They have no one other than Lebron that really can handle the ball and is a good distributor of the rock. Jamison should be played in the post as well. Mike Brown is an average coach. He makes no adjustments and like Barkley and Kenny Smith said, he is being too nice to these cats. Larry Brown, Jerry Sloan, Phil Jackson, Greg Poppovich or even ole Pat Riley would not have let this happen.

Even if Lebron stays. They need to get rid of them small arse guards. Package all them mofos up and trade them for a bonafide point guard that can shoot and be a decent defender.

so why isnt Z playing again?

Folks have been asking that for days. Jon Barry and Michael Wilbon asked a few games ago why Z isn't playing so he can help spread the floor. Perkins or Garnett would have to go get him on the perimeter which takes away some of Boston's interior defense.

Mike Brown can't see that because he aint that good of a coach. Celtics fans complain about Doc Rivers but Brown aint no Doc Rivers. Doc can at least make adjustments. Brown is overated as a coach. Good guy and probably a helluva assistant when he was under Poppovich. Not sure he has the X and Os of coaching not to mention the hard nosed mentality needed to win in the playoffs. Just my 2 cents worth.

I agree..... Brown isn't that great of a coach at all....

It aint neeeeeever Lebron
I could see if LeBron scored 35 and none of the other players did a damn thing. But Lebron wasnt even trying and the others fed off that...but lets see if he decides to step up tonight or if he decides to put his house up for sale.
