James Starks has the Packers in a good position. All they "need" is a good 3rd down back and they can get that in the late rounds of the draft.no mention about a RB but it wouldnt hurt to add one!

Good pick. I'm surprised they didn't trade down and take a chance on a lower OT. I like the pick though.
It looked as if they were trying to do that but could get all that they wanted and time ran out.
Detroit finally got a GM who knows football. If Nick Fairley can play half way decent, their DL will be unstoppable. This reminds of the old 49ers with Bryant Young and Danna Stubblefield .
Who will be the 1st HBCU player picked
I'm not talking about a specific position here. What player do you want your team to take in the first round of NFL Draft Thursday?
I would love the Bears to draft Boise State WR Austin Pettis. If not, Wisconsin OG John Moffitt will suffice as well.
My Redskins need a RB, QB, some darn good interior linemen AND they need some safeties along with defensive lineman that can really make a difference. If you look at their win-loss record you will see that they are much improved with Shanahan and they so many close losses that they really are good contenders for the title except for the two blowouts they had. I think the Clinton Portis situation was just a bad mishap, but I wish him well, and the McNabb situation was just a bad choice all around and the Haynesworth situation was just a bad choice also so they have to correct those three at least and I guarantee you that THAT RECORD will be at least in playoff standard.

Hope one is picked. The NFL is so unpredictable lol.
Have you seen Fairley play? The combination of Suh and Fairley is downright scary.
Mark Ingram looks sad as hell.
Yes, I have seen him play. What is your point?
You said "if Nick Fairley can play halfway decent" .... If you've seen him play, then you know he's going to be more than halfway decent unless he gets hurt.
I don't like the dude because I think he's a dirty player, but I can't deny his ability.
Well the draft is always a crap shoot, you never really know. Far more dominant college players than Fairley have been busts.
