After all, without him, the Lakers have a better chance of winning.

I bet you and the rest of the haters hope Phil stays away. If Phil comes back will you blame that on Kobe too? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Ice

Please leave mh alone.
He is from Alabama. If you dont know this, Bama negros know ONLY what white folks have told them. They NEVER go outside the range of what someone white has said. How else can you explain Mr. Evers Boys?

At any rate, The other Great One will be back soon.

Hawks run wild, hold on against Lakers

By SEKOU SMITH
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Published on: 02/08/05

With three starters out injured and his team stuck in a three-game slide, Hawks coach Mike Woodson hinted that it might be time to speed up the pace with the Los Angeles Lakers visiting Philips Arena on Monday night.

Woodson didn't say anything about the Hawks turning in their grittiest, wildest and arguably their best all-around effort of the season.

The Hawks led 62-45 at halftime, a season-high for points in a half.

LOL. You shole is right MH.

sidenote: MH, did you see the first part of a series on ESPN sportscenter discussing how the NBA aint been the same since Jordan and how the media has hyped up these players over the years as the next Jordan only for them to fall by the wayside either on the court or off. I wonder if GR is watching. ~snicker~. BTW, Kobe was one of those players they said did not measure up. I was lol @ the Jordan curse. David Stern send help. :smh:

I think everybody just needs to accept the true fact that Mr. Jordan was the absolute greatest EVER. None of these fly-by-night guys playing today can compare. Especially one who's NEVER even been MVP for a season.

I wonder if GR is watching. ~snicker~.
Through all the tears, he prolly was watching.
:bawling::bawling::bawling:

and I know ole ice man has thawed out by now.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

no doubt, we won't be hearing from the nuttriders today.
:(

Shaq and the Heat beat a top team from the West.
kobe and the lakers get whooped by an East team

btw, Lebron is sooooo much better than kobe.
:snicker:

Yeah MH, you're right. The nuttriders just need to accept the fact that the Lakers are going nowhere fast under Kobe's leadership. Lebron is a much better team player than Kobe ever will be. The lakers kinda remind me of the titanic at this point.

hey nutt riders,

Did yall see the way kobe screwed up that game last night?

:lol::lol::lol:

I mean, those other guys had done a great job in making a super comeback and along comes kobe at the end and screwed the whole thing up!!!!!!!!!!!
:smh::smh:

so damn typical!!!

damn!

I guess you don't have to START the threads when you can just pull them up.

...and Luke Walton should have taken the shot...

naw, kobe should not have thrown that dumb pass that was behind Luke anyway. The ball hog stood there and dribbled away the clock and when he couldn't get enough room to throw up one of his usual bricks, he made a horrible pass at the last second.
:smh::smh:

A brilliant comeback......totally destroyed by kobe.

damn!

It wasn't at the last second because Luke still had time to pass the ball BACK to Kobe after NOT taking the open shot.

Oh yeah...now you're saying Kobe passes TOO much?

MH,

Y'all should have checked out the rivalry week segment on ESPN NBA Fastbreak last night...*lmao*

Magic was on and pretty much called kobe out on his play; He said that that his "crutch" (i.e. Shaq) was gone and that he hadn't done anything to make the palyers around him better...

Needless to say, he was really pissed *lol*.

He didn't even predict to Lakers to make the playoffs... :smh:

Sad...

Kobe was mad cause Magic called him out? I guess he's going to go at Magic now and try to get him fired or something.

Magic was just speaking that the team is not as good...YET. Kobe wasnot interviewed since he was still playing the game.

Most of this is the same stuff Magic said before Phil got there.

J4L, he wasn't just talking about the lakers squad in general...He was spelling out how Kobe dominating the ball was preventing cats like Odom and butler from taking more of a scoring/leadership role on the squad...

Man, ANYTIME somebody like Magic says that your style of play is borderline selfish and doesn't do a thing to make the players around you better, there's a modicm of truth to it;

We already know that kobe's a heck of an offensive player....We know he can put the ball in the hoop. the question is can he make the players around him better? It's not all the supporting casts fault...There has to be a willingness on his part to grow up and learn that leadership aspect of the game...Magic's been sayin' that for a minute, though...It's just magnified because shaq isn't there to be the saftey net...

Didn't Chucky lead the team in scoring last night with 27 or 29? Just asking...

Chuck had the following:

29pts., (10-21 FG)

3 rebounds

3 assists

kobe had 26 pts (9-24 shooting)

1 rebound :smh: :shame:

3 assists :smh:

1 rebound??? :shame:

3 assists??? :smh:

on the other end of the spectrum, here's Lamar Odom's stats from last night:

11 pts (5-7 shooting)
4 assists
13 rebounds

0 turnovers....

The sad thing about all of this is that Lamar not only averages a double double for the season, but his assist #'s are almost as high and he does alot more for the defensive make-up of the team...He gets folks involved in the offense (including kobe) when he's running the offense from the point forward spot...

there's no reason why kobe shouldn't be averaging a double double, particularly on this squad...I think that's what magic was trying to get at...

Anybody else want to tell me that CRAPCHAk did the right thing trading SHAQ and keeping KOBE with people like T-Mac, Francis, V. Carter and others out there at the time. I said last year this was the mistake of the century.

It's right up there with Orlando letting him, (SHAQ), go in the first place, and the Jerry's breaking up the Bull's.
:look:

2 games ahead of the Clippers. :look:
And I'm a person that likes Kobe. :xeye:
