The lack of black coordinators' at FCS school

It's amazing, how many black are coordinators' at FCS/FBS/BCS outside of HBCU conferences. I mean, we are good enough to play on the field, but, not smart enough to call plays???

Examples.....
Charlie Weis' son is the offensive coordinator at Florida Atlantic. He is only 24 years old!

Jim Leonard only coached for one year before coming the defensive coordinator at Wisconsin. He just started coaching in 2016.

There is a lot of nepotism in coaching hires. The head coach, with some exceptions, is going to hire guys they have some type of previous relationship with.

But, Weis' son was a damn analyst. How many black coaches get that benefit of a doubt??

Like I said ... nepotism. Lane Kiffin is the head coach at FAU. He and baby Weis were at Alabama together.

And he might be giving the kid a shot because he got shots a coach as a youngster, too. Kiffin was a TE coach at 22 at USC.

The "Good Ole Boy Network" is alive and well. Hell, Trump is in the White House!!!!!!!!!!! A Black Man has to pay his dues. A White Boy get the benefit of the doubt. Nothing to see here.

Keep making excuses for outright racism. These coaches spend time with Black players for up to four years in film rooms, on the field, during breakfast, lunch, dinner, workouts but you wanna say that it's strictly due to nepotism?
Why not give opportunities to those former Black athletes who helped you to a winning season? There's no excuse for not hiring more of those players in key positions.
Give them a chance to sink or swim like you do for former white players.

A lot of those black coaches at big schools are nothing more recruiters. They always be nothing more than a position coach.

Dameyune Craig is a great example. He should be a offensive coordinator by now. But, I guess, it's nepotism.
 
Let's use Deion Sanders. If he decided to start coaching D.B.'s in college. Would some major power-5 hire him? No, they would tell him to become an analyst, and pay his dues.

Steve Sarkisian is a great example of privilege. He was caught drinking on the job at USC. But, did he catch a second chance? Yes, he not only called the plays for 2017 championship game. But, he is now the Falcon's offensive coordinator.

What black man could get it that good??????

Money has silenced a lot of people. Potential coordinators or hbcu head coaches show went to HBCUs but are in p5 situations have been offered more money to stay as a recruiter and position coach and get stuck.

The ones that walk away do it with a cut and get programs that are hard to turn around.

Does Dameyune Craig want to be an OC? I believe if he wanted to be an OC he could be by now. You can't make me believe Tee Martin can be an OC and Dameyune couldn't do the same if he wanted to. I do believe nepotism in coaching is real. But, I also think Dameyune Craig may be a bad example.
 
One more thing I'm curious as to what agents these Black assistants at Power 5 schools have. I say that because who your agent is, is a factor in who some coaches place on their staffs.

Again, Tee Martin wanted then Tennessee job. But, how did that work out for him? They gave the job to Jeremy Pruitt. I feel, Martin was better qualified than Pruitt. But, hey, who am I?

As a defensive coordinator Pruitt has won two national championships and all of his defenses have been top 10 defenses including his defense at Georgia. I'm not just saying this because I like Pruitt but his resume, in my opinion, is the best of all the defensive coordinators that have worked under Saban including Grantham, Muschamp, and Kirby Smart. Pruitt proved he could run a good defense without Saban. Now, I like Tee Martin too. But, Tee hasn't distinguished himself as a coordinator on the offensive side like Pruitt has on the defensive side.

Well how many of those black players were hell to deal with or all they cared about was the NBA or NFL-because that was all what was DRILLED into them?
White player doesn't have NFL or bust drilled in his head.
White player doesn't get judge by his antics like black ones unless he is a true piece of crap like Johnny Mazeil.
Also how many of those black player are willing to do what it takes? Brad Steven-that Boston Celtic coach-gave up a HIGH paying job to start at the BOTTOM at Butler. How many players are willing to do that?

Also how many PLAYERS are willing to listen to a BLACK coach?
How many BOOSTERS & DONORS are willing to support a BLACK COACH?
How many high schools are willing to let in a BLACK COACH?

How many times have we seen a team "suddenly" improve after the black coach is sent packing?

When has Pruitt walked into a bad situation? I mean, most of those defenses were already stacked with five-star players. Hmmm, when you have the tools and resources to be successful. You can't lose a battle.

I still want to see a black man receive the 'benefit of the doubt" like his white counterparts.

Tee Martin has also paid his dues on the coaching circuit.

As has been proven before, we know Saban doesn't care much about the color of the person, but whether or not they can help him win games.

I know. Honestly, when you have a massive offensive line as they do. You can do what ever. But, I think the Q.B. play will be the issue on this year.

Alabama's running plays consist of:
Zone- right
Zone- left
Counters'
Leads'

Hell, you could take the any offensive coordinator from The SWAC, and put him in that position. I guarantee you, he would have great success.

So, in a nutshell, what you're saying is that even though college football is 70 percent Black, not many of these players have the "go-get-it" attitude that it takes to become a coordinator??!!
This sounds just like white folks trying to justify bigoted excuses to deny equality to Black players who are qualified for coordinator positions, much less coaching positions.
More white coaches fail at coaching than Black coaches and are given far too many chances to fail.
I'm not shocked though by your comments.

Saban also has a few young Black guys who are working for him as analysts who will be on-field coaches in the years to come. Saban has a coaching university going on within that program.

Locksley is no slouch. As the Illinois OC, the Illini led the Big 10 in rushing in back-to-back years (2006-2007) and were top 10 nationally in rushing offense both of those years as well. After personnel turnover the following year (2008), they led the Big 10 in passing and ranked 19th nationally in total offense. As Maryland OC in 2013, the Terps surpassed 5,000 total offensive yards in a season for just the fourth time in school history. I don't think any SWAC OC could do this.
 
To be honest with y'all I really don't care about the lack of black coaches in these so called white schools. Black people need to take care of home first!! White folks gone be racist, they can't help it!! You talking about billions of years not liking minorities. People its not going away over night. We are the prizes!! If black people take care of home, we would not be having this discussion. The issue is we let these white folk infiltrate our homes with money, homes, and jobs instead of investing in ourselves. Focus on ourselves and stop looking for white folks to give us a finger.

Even if this did happen, financially you still wouldn't come close to competing with these schools.
