Cilic leads 6-7(6), 6-4, 7-6(3)
15:24

Cilic guides a backhand just wide of the line and then hits a really tame forehand into the net. "Got it!" shouts Cilic - at least it sounds like that. He has three chances to win the set, the first two on his own serve. And straight away a sure-footed winning forehand swirls many metres away from Querrey's reach.

Cilic has done it! He's in the final
16:05

A nervy shot from the baseline by Querrey lands a little bit long and sets Cilic up with two match points. The Croatian has wide open court space for a backhand pass - but misses it. He's ready the serve so well now and begins another rally. And there's a forehand winner! Marin Cilic wins 6-7(6), 6-4, 7-6(3), 7-5.

Roger wins - he is into the finals!

Anyone else find it amazing how the stars from a decade ago are still managing to remain competitive? It wasn't that long ago when players were thought to be washed up before reaching the age of 30, especially on the women's side. It seemed like outside of Sampras and Agassi, it was a young person sport. I said all of that to say, go 30+ crowd!!!! lol

Venus and Serena were highly criticized for not playing a full tour back in the day.

Roger has only had back problems and as he got older, he cut back on the number of events he participated
