Thanks Jrock. I couldnt have said it better myself.JROCK said:GR,
People in the ATL are fed up with Price. His alligator arms and pass dropping antics has everyone thoroughly disgusted with him in this city. He has been a gross disappointment and his performance is no where near what he accomplshed with Mould playing on the other side in Buffalo. His over paid arse has a label of being a coward (this ain't the SEC son). The kid out of OSU is coming along but is still matriculating. And good lord Dez White? He must get regular play in pre-season and mop up duties because otherwise his arse is invisible. Vick has no go to wide out targets period. Thank goodness for the all pro tight end Algie.

Frist of all, GR agrees that Price is overpaid. It was silly of ATL to pay that kid 10 mill to sign his name. But you guys are sadly overlooking the obvious. Its not all the the WRs fault that they are not catching the ball. The biggest reason they are catching the ball is that Vick cant hit the side of a barn with a machine gun. As a passer HE SUCKS. HE CANT THROW. PERIOD. If they would let Vick run out to the WR and hand them the ball, they would have something, but the FACT is that VICK is one of the lowest rated QBs cause of his low completion percentage. If your QB rating is below Jake Plummer, that aint good. Vick is the 26th(ish) rated QB in the league.
How would you like to try to catch them damn medicine balls he throws? Ask that Jefferson kid in Green Bay about that.
And MH
You have proven that you know absolutely nothing about nothing. The next you offer something to a conversation will be the first time.
Let me beat you to it
"i knew it wasnt going in"
Get Ready said:You will have big time window dressing.
If you get one (which you already have) you better hope Schaub is the QB if you want to see him catch the ball.
Get Ready said:Didnt say a word aboutt Blank (the Jerry Jones wanna be)
Im sure he can go get him TO type. Might even do the deal for Moss, but what good would it do. Do you actually think Vick can drop that ball in on Moss like Culpepper.
Better.Get Ready said:Do you actually think Vick can drop that ball in on Moss like Culpepper.
Get Ready said:You are right Jrock
Comparing Blank to Jones is no comparison....Jones hasTHREE rings, Blanks has none.
And now we have people on this board that think Vick has the same accuracy as Culpepper. You guys....sheesh ...nevermind
Vick can run faster than Culpepper....thats it...PERIOD.

You act as if Blank has owned the Falcons for umpteen years. He bought the team in 2002. And the Cowboys may have a history, but it's just that........history!!!!!!!!
btw, when was it that only 30K showed up to a FALCONS game?
:smh:
Da_Sperm said:Jones wouldn't dare drop season ticket prices to $100 like Blank. Why? Simply because he owns the Dallas Cowboys. To many, going to see the Cowboys play at Texas Stadium is like going to Disney. You will never see the day when there is only 30,000 at a Cowboys game.
That is the difference between Jones and Blank. Jones' Cowboys are the property right before you pass "GO", Blank's Falcons are the property somewhere after you pass "GO".
D-NICE said:Oh, for arguments sake McNabb is the best black QB. Stats aside, dude just knows how to win, and I'll take that anyday over stats, pretty passess, and a stronger arm.
It wasn't that long ago that Philly had a dominating defense, and Randall Cunnigham couldn't take them past the first round. Philly's defense is not as dominating as that late 80's, early 90's defense, but the offense's are just as comparable, and Donovan is the reason. I like Dante, and I'll admit his coaching situation, and defense sucks, but truth be told, when it's time for him to make a play he can't, and doesn't.
He had several chances in both games against Philly this year, and didn't do it. Schit, in the first game he turned the ball over 3 times in the redzone against them.
Again, no knock on Dante, Donovan is just a better playmaker when it counts.
NICE
JR said:Ok Nice, lets look at it this way. Donovan had 5 ints in the last 3 NFC title games. So would you say he didn't make plays? Also like GR said, Donovan is in a no risk offense. The West Coast is an efficient offense and a great one when you have great players at the skill spots. Duante has been in a high risk, high reward type of offense. You called out one game that he had against Philly or maybe both against Philly. But did he not make plays against Indy and GB when his sad defense let him down. What I am saying is that Philly's defense keeps the game close enough for Donovan. Donovan has not had to go on a 3 Td campaign to win a game. Duante has. albeit he has had kickers kick a last second field goal 3 times this year. We can't compare him in the playoffs because again, his team can never get there. No fault of his. He is the same boat Peyton is in. They will never win until they get a defense and in Daunte's case a owner, coach, etc..... I am rooting for McNabb in the SB, but don't be shocked if Bellichek makes him beat NE. If he does then we will see if he can. I hope so. But Donovan had an easy playoff run this time. No Tampa Bay defense. No St. Louis Defense on the road and no Carolina type defense. While Atlanta's defense was decent. They were not as good as the last 3 teams Donovan's has faced.
Maybe when we get the new ownership after the SB, Minnesota will finally get some folks in here to help Culpepper on the sideline and on the field. Then we will have an accurate judgement on him. You heard the announcers say what a great organization Philly is. That goes a long way for your success on the field. Minnesota is far from that. Much to my chagrin.
Journalist said:Great counterpoint JR...I still say the greatest asset to McNabb's success and Philly's was not TO, but a healthy Bryan Westbrook. He rushed for 800-900 yards and caught 70 passes for over 700...he's the cog of this offense...that's something Donovan didn't have in those last three NFC title games.
Culpepper's Westbrook, IMO, is Mwelde Moore (you remember him gashing us when we played Tulane) but he's probably trade bait for a DL or DB. Before Moore got hurt he had damn near 400 rushing and recieving yards.
I think the difference is that everyone on that roster in Philly knows its Donovan's team while some may fell Daunte hasn't really took hold of that leadership role (I for one say he shoulda slammed Randy Moss a couple times). Next season is pivotal for Culpepper, he has to take the bull by the horns really assume the undisputed leader role.
We know Philly's the better ran organization. Red McCombs isn't doing anything for that team and damn near got beat down by former Gov. Jesse Ventura when he and the Twins owner cried about a new stadium. JR, isn't the guy that owns the Wolves talking about getting the Vikings.
