President Donald Trump spent Wednesday telling people he was happy that the Republicans David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler lost their Senate races in Georgia, the New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman reported.

In Georgia's Senate runoff elections held this week, Perdue lost to Jon Ossoff, while Loeffler lost to Raphael Warnock, according to Decision Desk HQ and Insider.

"The president was telling people today that he was happy Loeffler and Perdue lost," Haberman tweeted. "He said they didn't defend him enough."
A mob of Trump supporters stormed and ransacked the US Capitol building on Wednesday, and multiple reports say Trump was highly resistant to condemning them.

Multiple European security officials told Insider that President Trump appeared to have tacit support among US federal agencies responsible for securing the Capitol complex in yesterday's coup attempt.

Insider is reporting this information because it illustrates the serious repercussions of yesterday's events: Even if they are mistaken, some among America's international military allies are now willing to give credence to the idea that Trump deliberately tried to violently cancel an election and had help from some federal law enforcement agents.

"We train alongside the US federal law enforcement to handle these very matters, and it's obvious that large parts of any successful plan were just ignored," one source told us.

The supporters of President Donald Trump who stormed Congress to stop the ratification of President-elect Joe Biden's election victory were attempting a violent coup that multiple European security officials said appeared to have at least tacit support from aspects of the US federal agencies responsible for securing the Capitol complex.

From my experience. I fully agree. There are things I could share but I won't.

Trump wants a coup because he has done so much illegal stuff in office that the minute he leaves he will fear being arrested. Name a former president who publicly made the statement of providing blanket pardons for crimes for himself and his family before leaving office.
 
I thought after 911 the Capitol Building was reenforce to stop any attack from anyone trying to storm the building.
Where are the steel doors that can be locked and keep folks out? They have all the barriers around it to keep vehicles from driving into it.

This was all setup and folks in the federal government was involved. The Capitol Police Chief needs to be fired today along with Homeland Security.
