SWAC Spring ESPN schedule





Will this game be aired? The SU/JSU spring football contest was not a part of the conference ESPN line-up because that game is not a conference game. That game evolved as a result of a contractual relationship between the two schools outside of conference affiliation. The two schools rolled off each other's schedules for the 2020 season, but were compelled to play due to the popularity of that game. Since the game is being played at Jackson, it would appear it would be up to the two schools, and especially Jackson, to seek out an ESPN platform on which to carry the game.

Yup. Obama was in his first term. Actually, since 2000 Icon Gram has absolutely dominated J-State. We have 17 wins with 4 losses (including the forfeit in 2013) with the lion share of the wins being blowouts.

Also, for the last few years the Gram / J-State game has been carried by ESPN 2 or U. The question is if their premier channel will televise it.

The G-Men are definitely ready to rumble and win in a few weeks. However, our staff also knows that JSU will be hell real soon. We better get rocking with bringing in more star recruits and transfers immediately if we want to keep our paperwork on JSU. That damn recruiting class has officially put the Sun Belt, American, C-USA, MAC and MWC on notice. Jackson will be an official FBS G5 talent by 2022.

Our entire conference has to step up or get embarrassed. It’s that simple. I like it! Why? Because it’s time! The FBS prostitution checks and consecutive FBS G5 arse beatings weren’t doing enough to push everyone to fight harder at bringing in recruits with FBS and top 5 FCS offers. It’s official on now. I am excited to see where this goes!

Maybe you Jags aren’t as popular as y’all claim to be!

Lol. For real though, I was surprised that this game wasn’t on the lineup as well. It definitely should be. This heated and hated rivalry should be showcased.

No marching bands on the field, no fan interest. You can't call this call the game, "Boombox Classic"

Man when the fans and bands are able to come back I would love for a national audience to see this game and atmosphere.
 



It's on the JSU website as well as FBS Schedules as a ESPN2 game but not on ESPN yet (although we know it will be on ESPN3 because they promoted it during the JSU/Grambling game as a TV game)

You know who broke it first before everyone else jumped on it lol

hope the rain/storms can hold off on Sunday like it did before on the original date (and no more COVID setbacks). I wanna see if the grad transfer can beat out the other QBs on the roster as well as Fant who was an underrated stud out of Amanda Elzy to pair with Johnson.
