SWAC Spring ESPN schedule

The SWAC should do a syndicated network similar to the one they had in the late 90’s. The CIAA has one and the games are available nationally on ASPIRE Channel 381 on Direct Tv.

Jackson State was treated very favorably in the ESPN line-up with 6 of its 7 games to be broadcast. Is this the Coach Prime effect? How else could you explain such favorable treatment for a program that has been mired in mediocrity for nearly a decade, and has struggled to play 500 football?

As much as everyone (including myself) has praised the commissioner for what he has done with the SWAC, the one thing I criticize him for is his unwillingness to build up the SWAC Digital Network. Sharp was terrible but he got that one thing right with the quality of the SDN. I'll keep on bringing up how the OVC built up their own (digiital) network on Roku to where they were able to get weekly ESPN3 games. There is no reason why the SWAC can't do the same thing to ensure every school is on the same accord. Then you can approach an Aspire, Bounce or even a BET (they also have a digital network) and get weekly games on TV

Well what was the excuse for fall 2019 espn schedule?!? Jsu again along with PV had more covered games than anybody else in SWAC.... soooo I’m listening lmao 😂

just means that teams that were winning are not interesting. Step ya game up & you TOO can be as interesting and sought after as JSU! 😎

Jackson State has all of its 6 games aired on espn platforms. Must be the Prime Time effect! This is a program that has been mired in mediocrity for nearly a decade, and has not had a winning season in recent memory, but yet it gets all of its games aired. What about the more successful SWAC programs that have earned the advantage to have their contests aired. This appears to be favoritism shown to JSU by the conference office. I had hoped that "hometown cooking" would not have played into conference decision-making.

Y’all been gettin embarrassed during that same timeframe by a school that can’t afford cheese or crackers right now. Just say thank you and move on.

Well it must be something wrong with y’all gumbo.
Try waggling crows feet over each shoulder & boiling them in a pot of gators blood. Let it sit for 30 days & 30 nights. Recite Lucumba 5x & take 4 sips of the blood. That might change things for y’all. It’s your only hope.

maybe certain schools offer better experiences for espn when they show up and they’ve given insights around that. ESPN loves JSU & PV 🤷🏿‍♂️
Maybe we're the only 2 that have decent scenes around our stadiums? 🤷🏿‍♂️ Maybe the Commish don't want to frighten anyone with the scenes of Scotlandville or bore them with scenes around a Hole or the woods of 61 North.

Let's see if you have that same coverage during a regular 11 game schedule with other FBS and FCS schools (and Alcorn) playing and after an expected mediocre Spring season with the Deion newness gone.

I would probably work on getting your games off Livestream and Facebook first and building a legit sports network (something Valley already has) and depending on the white man for everything

do your homework bluefont.
And ain’t nobody watching that valley shit UNLESS JSU IS taking over that dump ass campus lol
But go do your homework & comeback on here & save face. Dumb ass. But you went to valley... so I mean. Hey!

Love him or hate him, but me personally I'm loving what Deion "Prime Time" Sanders is doing at JSU! He has brought the plight of HBCU's to the forefront and he has been worth his salary in Gold due to the amount of media attention he's brought to the University. His presence alone will make HBCU Football programs step up there game or get left behind.

This was an excellent move by JSU and they weren't afraid to go after a big time name to be their Coach. TSU has done the same in men's and women Basketball programs and it's paid off for them as well. Carry on JSU and Coach Prime Time........
