Really GR. TxSu saving grace was they got us at home to win the SWAC by one game. Again folks outside the SWAC saw how SU did out of conference. Like I said thank goodness for SU not embarrassing the SWAC during the REGULAR season and Post season. But if you say the SWAC called us the third best team then oh well. They ate the same mofos who allow a team on NCAA probation to be eligible for the regular season title. Which caused our conference an invite to the NIT. Thank goodness we saved the SWAC by winning the tourney or we were headed to another embarrassing play in loss.

I didn't buy into 12-0. Lol. I don't ever buy into undefeated seasons until they happen. Even during our run with Pete. I was never thinking we going 12-0. Certainly knew that Holimon wasnt going lead the nation in rushing. Dude should have played WR or DB.

All of that is true. But you were still the 3rd best team in teh SWAC. You won the SWAC trny because the 2 better teams were not able to participate in the trny. Congrats to you, but be honest with yourself for a damn change.

Yall got fortunate that the best teams werent in the trny. SU was good enough
to win over the remaining teams. Good for you.

If JacksonState and PV and BamaState werent in the baseball trny SU probably would
have won that too.
 
Hey JR, some folks just hate ESPN have given those Mighty Jags more ink. I thought the wound of S.U. breaking jsu and Lindsey Hunter's heart was healed. I guess S.U. in the nation"s lime light is too much like deja vu and opened up some old wounds. Don't be too hard on them. If you feel the urge to, just ask yourself, what would Jesus do? :lol: :emlaugh:

Lol. GR is delusional. He knows damn well we were the best them. Those same two teams HD bragging about both split with SU. Not swept. Split. But they were better? I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt that he missed all of basketball season. I guess he don't realize it was SU out of conference play that is what folks is talking about. He bragging on a PB team that beat up the rest of their sorry arses to get their record in conference but couldnt show how good they were out of conference. Damn shame the so called third place team sure had to save the SWAC. I wonder what he thinks the Zags would have done to either one. Using his logic the SWAC would have won going away.

Upsets happen out of conference too. AAMU beat MS State but they were STILL sorry.

SU won multiple OC games. Beat ULM by 30 :lol: , had their coach getting kicked out the game, because he couldn't take it. I listen to the game on the ULM network. The post game interview was hilarious :lol: .

I just looked.. DUDE .. were 1-4 when ya'll played them and then they went 3-18 when ya'll played them. You call that an upset? They were just sorry. Glad ya'll won tho.

How many OC games jSU won. We also beat Texas A&M and South Dakota . Lost to Tulane by 3 in a game they cheated us so badly and we still had a chance to win. Beltran missed a 3 at the buzzer. But if you look at the box scores of all of our games we were in all of them.

Yeah man a few of those jsu posters see the world like Fox News. If Obama says the sun is shining Fox News would say it's raining and the president's fault. If ESPN says S.U. is a shining star the jsu posters would say it's a mirage and accuse S.U. of putting something in their drink. :lol: :emlaugh: Basically it is the a tale of two programs. Thanks for taking the high road and not mentioning jsu is an 11-18 program. Thanks for not gloating about S.U. having more overall wins than all SWAC programs. This reminds so much of MLK ( If you around when I meet my day, Don't tell them I am a Nobel Peace prize winner. Say that I was a drum major for justice). Why you worried about how many we won? We had a down year. I see you keep leaving off that you beat TAMU, a sorry ULM team, and South Dakota but got whooped by NC Central.. I guess that was an upset by Central... :snicker: They done whooped ya'll in bball and football. :smh:

We pretty much "fired" our coach for coming in 4th. How long was SU on the bottom before last year and ya'll did nothing.

If you call a 4-pt. game getting whooped I guess so. NCCU went 15-1 in the MEAC and Norfolk went 16-0 in the MEAC, and guess what, neither team won the conference tournament.That should show you just because TXSU finished in 1st by 1 game, that wouldn't necessarily guarantee they would have made the SWAC Finals.
