SWAC Media Day 2025

Dude we be@t yall 48-10 with 6 guys suspended for fighting while essentially bringing back that same team and staff. Why the heck would I need an excuse(s) 😆 🤣 😂.
28-21 2023, what did that score have to do with 2024? Just like 2024 has nothing to do with 2025

Go back and read for comprehension this time. The 2023 staff and team were almost completely different from the 2024 team whereas the 2024/2025 team will feature the same staff and virtually the same team. TC was not the OC in 2023. Coach Quinn was not the DC in 2023. Manny Ramirez was not the Oline coach in 2023. Javancy Jones was not the LB/Sp Teams coach in 2023 etc.

We were 5 TDs better than you last year, had a better recruiting class, and much better coaching. Why the heck would I need an excuse(s) 😆 🤣

Doesn't matter 2024 and 2025 teams are not the same and the coaching staff doesn't play on the field. But you are right, you have the same team make sure you keep that energy in November you said it I didn't.

You still have your same sorry coaches. Ain't nothing changing so you can miss me with this see you in November mess y'all trying to convince yourself about lol

We enlightened thee, does that sound better?
You can't enlighten a program that has more East Championships. Has more Swac championships (while winning the Celebration bowl - something you can't do lol). Has a better overall football program than you..

😆 🤣

I know you have to tell yourself that to maintain your sanity but... Alcorn has always pointed the way since The Godfather Marino Casem days.
once he 3 peated he then led Alcorn to become the 1st SWAC school to defeat an FBS squad. JSU still hasn't done so. Then he had the Alcorn Braves become the first HBCU to finish the regular season ranked no. 1 in the FCS/1AA poll. The McNair Era is very much storied, no need to stand on ceremony there. As for the SCG time period...

pre Alcorn the EAST had what 3 wins total in the SCG? JSU just used to take it lying down from the WEST just like everyone else until paw paw Alcorn showed you how to hit the WEST in the mouth. And then the likes of JSU and the rest gained enough confidence to do it. The EAST has been dominant since Alcorn showed you how. You should be thanking the high heavens for the years of 2014-2019, the East would still be laid barren if it wasn't for The Crown.

*yawns* guess it'll be the same in the WEST. We like to give at least a 15-year grace period for the other teams to do what needs to be done. But if no one takes advantage... once we see fit, we'll stand tall and punch either FAMU or JSU in the mouth a few times. Then expect SU, Gram and PV to run through you all like the shhhhhttts.

Somebody has to be the model of excellence, I guess it'll have to be lil Alcorn.

This is how we know Alcorn will be good again in 40 years. Would be 20-30 but FAMU has entered the chat. Casem was in the 70s. McNair was in the 90s and then the run in the late 2010's. Alcorn is never consistent and it takes a major event to get them up there. The current coach "aint it". This is about to be bad. Alcorn about to be so sorry.

What you did in the EAST is unprecedented. 4 SWAC titles in 6 years. JSU is about to do 4 in 5 years. But dont act like the perfect storm didnt lead to Alcorn success. The hiring of Hopson basically coincided with the firings of Comegy and Barlow and we hired the worst possible coaches we could find. Granted, that aint Alcorn's fault. 🤣 🤣 But its still a fact.

Who you gonna punch in the mouth? LOL We welcome a JSU-Alcorn SCG, especially in Jackson but if it's in Lormandy, yall still gonna catch a big L!

In closing, the model of excellence in SWAC football is Gramberling. But they are a crumbling dynasty (thanks Lionel).

You are right. The JSU 2024 coaching staff is a year wiser and the system is a year older. We didnt really lose many players to the portal and the few we did lose, we replaced. We return a bevy of starters and guys who played a lot of snaps.

Alcorn on the other hand, lost their best players. Alcorn has one good player left from a sorry team, No NIL, a bunch of JUCO transfers, and one of the worst HCs and staffs in the conference. This one will be over by halftime.

...and yall still cant use THEE ramp.

Sounds like projection and it is Alcorn fault. We made yall fire them.
You mistake our graciousness between periods as a major event, no call it what it is Mythic 😅

Jackson would still be losing to SU and Grambling over and over again if paw paw Alcorn didn't inspire you with the confidence to do it.

Why is it so hard for you to accept Alcorn's generosity?

In 14 years, the East won a grand total of 3 SCGs. Who was the catalyst for the paradigm shift between the two divisions?

Mythic = Imaginary

Very fitting. Atleast we can agree on something 😂

No Mythical = imaginary
Mythic = Legendary
A subtle difference between the two 😎
The improbable Alcorn...

Well this was fun banter before SWAC media day. I'm ready for some SWAC football now.

In other words.. "it just couldn't have happened, not lil Alcorn." But it did.

"While "mythical" and "mythic" are often used interchangeably, "mythic" generally refers to something that is related to or characteristic of myths, while "mythical" can also mean imaginary or fictitious. "Mythic" often carries a sense of grandeur or importance, suggesting something that has achieved legendary status."

I'm pretty sure Bama st was the first to win the East. You can't be the catalyst for anything if you didn't start it lol

Hell nah Fi! I enjoyed this banter lol.

Watching JSU and Alcorn go at it is like watching a porno and it made me hornier than a muthafugga'. *putting up my Jergens*

Now I'm jealous, and hott and bothered. I wanna' smack too. *looking at SU holding the keys to our house, Southern U Football @ PV Stadium* Say something , Jags. Say something, anything.
