Why is PV sending anyone that doesn't meet the shit talking community's approval? Let them tell it, there should be no 2025 season because it's already been determined who the SWAC E/W champs will be and PV would do best to simply save the 2K-3K$ and funnel that money back to campus to fix the plethora of potholes we have on campus vs coming off this Hill we are sitting on.

...and while you won't find a single campus at THEE, the rest of our campus (Jackson, Mississippi) has nearly resolved our water crisis and pothole dilemma. The only pot hole you need to worry about is the one we going make after beating your team in the ground IF you win the sorry ahh West.
If I wanna' see a pothole, I'll travel down IH10, 20, 45, or 35 to look at potholes. I don't care about what's going on outside of the Waller county borders. Shouldn't you concern yourself w/ that war between y'all and Israel? IJA'n.

wow so this has been the issue with Alabama State and A&M all these years. I always wondered what the deal was with you guys being in population centers like you are but not getting the type of media push that you should.
I despise how Mississippi media is all funneled to Jackson MS and being Alcorn there has always been a complicit bias against us. I wish Natchez had their own news channel like it used to back in the day. The problem Alcorn had with the Natchez station was that it catered to Alexandria Louisiana which is very odd so it did us no good then as well. That Natchez station just eventually became consumed by Jackson MS media just like everything else.

The West is down because Alcorn has been down. I guess everybody just waiting on Alcorn to come up. Being that the Braves aka The Pride of the East resurrected our Eastern brethren... I guess everybody just waiting on us to do the same in the West. Then expect to see the Gramblings, the Southerns, and the PVs etc to dominate after we flip the conference again.
unfortunately I don't foresee it happening this year.

Because Alcorn is down? Alcorn has spent most of my life "down". That's the norm for them. THE present-day Alcorn is the Alcorn I know. Alcorn benefitted from JSU and ASU firing Comegy and Barlow, respectively. Had that not happened, there is NO WAY that Alcorn would have won 6 EAST titles and 4 SWAC crowns in 6 years. BUT you are correct. The West is down bad just like the EAST was down bad from 2014-2019. I don't know who can resurrect it, but I don't think it will be Alcorn. If I am being honest, Alcorn is abt to suffer through another 40 years in the Wilderness (no pun intended) until another savior comes to set them free. Alcorn will be battling UAPB for the 5th spot. once he 3 peated he then led Alcorn to become the 1st SWAC school to defeat an FBS squad. JSU still hasn't done so. Then he had the Alcorn Braves become the first HBCU to finish the regular season ranked no. 1 in the FCS/1AA poll. The McNair Era is very much storied, no need to stand on ceremony there. As for the SCG time period...
pre Alcorn the EAST had what 3 wins total in the SCG? JSU just used to take it lying down from the WEST just like everyone else until paw paw Alcorn showed you how to hit the WEST in the mouth. And then the likes of JSU and the rest gained enough confidence to do it. The EAST has been dominant since Alcorn showed you how. You should be thanking the high heavens for the years of 2014-2019, the East would still be laid barren if it wasn't for The Crown.
*yawns* guess it'll be the same in the WEST. We like to give at least a 15-year grace period for the other teams to do what needs to be done. But if no one takes advantage... once we see fit, we'll stand tall and punch either FAMU or JSU in the mouth a few times. Then expect SU, Gram and PV to run through you all like the shhhhhttts.

With the advent of social media, someone from Alcorn could fill that void with an Alcorn centric media source (podcast, articles, etc). I admire JSU for doing just that with alums doing just that for them knowing how the CL and WLBT (sometimes) covers them
The days of news stations in sub-50k towns are over with. A media company bought out the 3 separate new stations (ABC, CBS, NBC) here in 2014 and consolidated them into one building in Greenville (under 30k) simulcasting 1 broadcast for 3 different networks.

Schools with new head corches coming in with all this energy, high testosterone, catch phrases, optimism, and unknown & unproven portal players thinking they will dethrone THEE. Ninja PLEASE! take this into account, it took Prime a few classes to eventually steer the ship back on track, and I donāt see no Prime-like folks in a Shade, Jackson, or a Valley coming in and doing that with all new pieces in year 1. However, the WEST is so TOP heavy and pathetic , a PV will mess around and should WIN it by default just having to overcome SU sorry behinds. We look forward to hosting ole PV in the Jack. The files say we have the same amount of SCG titles and only one of us has been able to whoop ass and be National Champs. If you only have a few good seasons every two to three decades, you shouldnāt be in anyoneās conversation. Only all corn folks can come up with crazy shit like this
