1st of all, I'm not to go bring up stats that will NOT CHANGE YOUR MIND SO WHAT'S THE USE OF STATS!!!!
2nd, it's been more than this game that made ME question him.

He has done a remarkable job in the number of wins in the SWAC as well as the surprises against Miami and Cal-State. But, he's not great!

Question, do you think the pitcher from J-State that beat overall seeded ULL 2 years ago is an all-time great?

My take is he isn't that good, the SWAC IS WEAK. this year but I've only seen him once.

I've already answered your question when I stated one game doesn't define if a player is great or not. The use of stats are used to help determine how great a player is.

And you just used stats to say he beat Miami when he didn't. He's good, real good. But he needs more control of his slider, and lil more velocity. These are a few reasons why I say he's not great. When he has control, his sidearm motion is around the plate and the ball drops off the plate. But he's had many appearances where he's decent, not in control. That makes him not great.

However, I hope he has a great day tomorrow along with the rest of the Hornets. Defense needs to step up.

How do you determine an All-time great if you don't go by their stats?
 
Camacho had a bad outing. Too many errors. Looks like the pressure got to our freshmen infielders. We got South tomorrow at 11:00AM. Good crowd. We did hit the ball. Tyler Howe should get the call tomorrow.

Also, the defense needs to play much better. I think the errors may be charged to the "playoff atmosphere". And even though Bama State is down by a huge margin, they can still put up runs in this game.

Bama State showed me in the SWAC tourney that they didn't move well when the ball is hit close to the gaps. The pitching staff and good hitting was their keys to a great season and their is no shame it that. Hopefully, their pitching rotation is ready for South Alabama tomorrow. I think ASU will be ready for a war.
 
Who is Bama St starting today? I am tell y'all, Alicea is the way to go for the Stingers as he really should have started yesterday. That kid slings the fastball from 12 hard. He works the plate and has a weird rotation on his breaking ball that cause several pop ups. I could be wrong, but I think he would have kept FSU reaching all over the plate. There is no way I would have started Camacho against FSU. His style of pitching wasn't needed against FSU in the first game of the tourney.

I want ASU to beat USA badly. I don't want their great season to be flushed down the NCAA drain. I am praying that we get out if the "At least we won the SWAC" mentality. We need to make some noise in the NCAA tournaments. Especially win we are put in positions to win. Going 0-2 in NCAA Baseball/Softball Tournaments and losing the "play n game" in the NCAA Basketball Tournament should not be a norm for us and is completely embarrassing. At least we are starting to fare better in regular season non conference games and other post season tournament.
