BATON ROUGE - The Southern University Marching Band has been chosen to provide halftime entertainment Sunday at the Louisiana Superdome when the New Orleans Saints take on the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL’s NFC Championship game.

Southern’s invitation to perform at the National Football League Championship contest is more proof that the “Human Jukeboxâ€￾ is the icon of college marching bands. Southern was recently the subject of a profile in the New York Times on marching dance routines.

Great News for SU, HBCUs and Black College bands. My only request is that if you do the halftime score that you learn how to put the dash in if both teams have double digit scores. :lecture:

Word to the wise: If the vast majority of people on both sites have the same opinions of you, maybe it's NOT the websites that have the issue.....

Actually I was referring more to the organization that the uniform in my profile picture belongs to........but I digress........do what ya'll do.

Realize, I said "you", but when you wear that uniform, as in your profile pic, or when you directly associate yourself and GSU, as in your user name and the conversations you participate in and the views/experiences you convey..... *"YOU" also means GSU.*

I guess that's the "price of greatness" though.... When you've ALWAYS been the greatest, like :vomit:*ramblin, of course you're gonna have 2 websites full of haters, right?!

You CAN'T be serious bruh..... Their band made ours what it is today. Their band has been EXCELLENT for 84 years. Even when they are "not so excellent" they are just 'doing them', which is what has gotten them so much positive feedback over the years... Geez SUtrp96, "you better rec'anize fool!"
 
Why are y'all entertaining that loser again?

Wouldn't it be sweet if the Saints are beating the Vikings 35-3 at halftime and the Jukebox put that score on the field. Sunday will be a historical day. :banana:
