SU opponent's locker room burglarized

If your nose is accurate, that would make this a quick and simply prosecution and execution. That would be good for moving forward. However, in a way I really hope you are wrong. It hurts to think that anyone would bring that shame on what Dr. Clark and so many made so valuable to HBCUs, Louisiana, the nation and this world. That would me SU was too lax in its security efforts.

My prayers are that no matter who it is, that they are caught quickly and that ALL of the kids goods are retrieved. You get over losing funds, but things like the championship rings, etc... Man, that hurts you emotionally. Let us all pray for the best.

Dude, don't even go there. I'm in Dallas. I drive up on GSU's campus and any other campus (Black or white) when I get good and ready. Only the very small ones like Jarvis, Wiley, etc... force you to go through a post with someone manning it. However, I'm always allowed on to view the campus without any issues. Why, known of us have been given a reason to be otherwise. We all welcome people to see our campus as good publicity and encouragement to send others to attend. We (HBCUs) don't make people feel unwelcome.

How dare you go to imply GSU is free from crime, shooting, drugs, thugs or any other negative images, including administrative issues. GSU is smaller. GSU is back in the woods. But, the lifestyle that we deal with reaches all corners of society. And you should be intelligent enough to realize that GSU is no safer than SU, JSU, TxSU or even LA Tech. If not, your 911 day is forthcoming to "slack you right back into the present".

You should be ashame for falling into the Willie Lynch syndrome. We've begin to take this HBCU rivilry crap out of context. That's how those other folks act, not HBCUs.

It is sad. I feel sorry for the NCCU team having to endure such foolishness.

Things must improve immediately.

I hope they catch the culprit and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. :sad:

staggalee, that was '96 they were shooting outside Mumford Stadium, not '97. JSU came in '96. I was at that game.

Now that I recall more of that night. There was a fight in the end zone too. I've got it on tape.

That's the only thing that gets me. Some of these folks don't even want to acknowledge there's a problem in Baton Rouge. I guess an ENTIRE conference of folks are just making stuff up.


BTW, I say "Baton Rouge" because LSU has a horrible reputation as well when it comes to unruly fans and sportmanship (or lack thereof). I guess all the other SEC institutions are lying as well when they tell LSU horror stories. It ain't just coincidence.

It was a faternity fight. THe SU police fired one shot in the air to stop the fight.

GR does not know what SU is doing to make amends for what happened to those children, but GR does not think that the SU administration gives a damn. If it were me, GR would write a check to those kids to try to replace the lost articles. Im sure not more than 10K worth of stuff was taken. The first thing yall need to do is PAY FOR IT....FINANCIALLY.

Then you can "so called" go after the people that did it. GR is sure that SU and OJ will be hard at work for for the perps of the crime.

SU is TOTALLY responsible for what happened. So do yourself a favor....so some compassion, some sympathy, some concern, how bout a little kindness and write a check. Then maybe someone will believe that you guys dont condon this kinda mess.

I knew it was near the end of the '90's.:nod:
1996 was also the year those break lines was cut. The team was late getting there.


Alcorn25, his brother, and myself was sitting on Southerns home side in the top right corner. We was killing SU. Me and Alcorn25 brother was talking cash shat.

Right before halftime, we walked around to the visiting side down in front of the Boom. Time we turned around, the section we were in cleared out.

When it happened again 2 years later, I vowed never to go back.:nod:
