FINALLY, someone else who sees the Jukebox TRYING to sound like the BOOM... it ain't workin tho. BUT just like I can admit that JSU has had to evolve with the times...and well I might add, SU ain't making the transition to less power too well. People clown on JSU for adding more brass as a consequence of the way songs are played today but SU added more woodwinds so are we to say they were trying to copy the BOOM? (evn tho they can't).

I play the trumpet and piano. I know music just as well as you so called band heads. I turned downed several band scholarships and accepted JSU's offer. Music it runs all through my family. From sisters who play piano to uncles who play Jazz sax and trumpet.

Bottom line It's not hard to tell when SU is playing songs out of their character and vise versa...

The difference is you can't see SU's flaws and vulnerabilities because you're blinded by this Juke Box obsession.

It's fine no argument here just continue doing what you do.

Some things you just shouldn't argue about. All of us are in our 30s now. It makes no sense to argue over petty stuff when most of us haven't put on a band uniform in 10 years. At some point, people need to grow up...

Alcorn even bit the J-5 dance from the boom and our drum majors.

I can pull the video and show you. Nobody was playing whatever you like leaving the field last year but JSU then everyone started doing it.

But you guys will find something like facing both crowds, no dance and marching to try to make a show different...I didn't say it was exacty the same I said it sound Boomish.
