Well, we will see what the NCAA has to say about all this.

I am a Southern Jaguar through and through; my blood runs blue and gold. But if this were JSU going through this dilemma, my prayers and my hope would be that she is successful. To the contrary, you guys sound as though you want to see SU fail, and such an attitude is unfortunate for all of us.

YOU need help

Why does he need help for asking someone to support their comment. Is he suppose to just take his word because the comment comes from an SU fan who has not laid eyes on the requested documents or who who has not sat in on not one of the work sessions held by the Su task force. If you or anyone else on this board feel they are beyond questioning they are the ones who need help! I read post after post of negatives about JSU and APR from SU folk who knew nothing about it yet that didn't stop them from challenging JSU supporters who felt as strong as you SU folk about JSU getting off the post season ban. So I to agree that some people are wasting good money spent on their education.

You are right. As SWAC educated fans, we all must realize that our own students (black) are being hurt when the APR monster strikes. First, when it happens the current students aren't at fault. Second, over 80% of any blame should be placed on the administration because they are the ones who are paid and authorized to do assessments, data analysis and other statistical methods of research to ensure that proper numbers are being reported. I hate to read about any SWAC fan pointing the finger at each other for such seriousness. APR issues hurts all of us, especially our student athletes who could have went to another non-swac school.

Remember SU was on that ban with JSU at the same time. Shouldn't have been SU folks saying anything. Now the rest of the board was roasting JSU. So it seemed like it was just JSU on APR ban. But we were hit at the exact same time. That's why the NCAA is asking for additional paperwork from that time. No SU poster should have been smacking on APR back then.

You are correct my friend. I remember mostly valley folks saying really bad things about our players and to be exact it was at their game in 2011 when we beat them there. Little did they know karma would strike them out the delta because this year their 3 major sports are banned and have major APR issues and to make it worse for them, the next year the Gov was trying to close them again. I along with many JSU supporters marched, screamed, yelled and made our voices heard at the Capital building to keep valley state open and now they want to bad mouth JSU and don't support us getting a dome.

Guys, the best position taken is not always the most popular one. We need to keep a fire lit under every administrator and coach at our schools. It is not the most popular position. Never be satisfied always demand more. We live in a society now where administrators at our schools attempt to challenge our intelligence. Then they brainwash the high-paying alumni into thinking only their word matters when their word is as stupid and non-strategic as possible. Wake Up!!!

I hope all these Valley and Alcorn folks realize there are a GROWING number of individuals who are graduating both Alcorn/Valley AND JSU for undergrad and graduate. Notice I said graduate, not drop out.
