Just show up in Houston and see if SU got there or not. That will answer the questions once and for all. Or wait until the AD makes an official announcement.

It will not help your team chances of getting a tourney championship.
 



Our illustrious commissioner has declared that all 10 teams will be eligible for the tournament and if a banned team wins then the team with the best regular season record will represent the conference in the "big dance"........:smh:

Well, I hope that clears everything up for ole JR.

BUT NOW this goes to show how WRONG Fiyah and MH were when they kept trying to say that the SCG was part of the APR-related NCAA ban on post-season contests. Conference championship tournaments are not a part of NCAA bans imposed by APR, only the tournaments that lead to an NCAA championship. As we (and SWAC officials) tried to tell them, the conferences have to decide if they want to ban team from conference-sponsored post season tournaments.

That if foul, we have a stupid Commissioner, sends the wrong message, if you are banned then you should be banned. Have to have some kind of standards. smh

Today is the latest deadline. All other deadlines were met so this one should be as well. I think after today if there are no issues with the information presented, there is a final submittal that will be sent Friday.
