They reported last night that it was basically down to Fred Mcnair and Spears with Spears looking like the next head coach at Alcorn. No time table given on the final decision but the 3rd time may just be the charm.

Northern Colorado: Four coaches from Alcorn State have been hired at Northern Colorado. Offensive coordinator Michael Armour, defensive coordinator Zach Shay, running backs coach Terrance Robinson, and linebackers coach Derrick Davison have all joined the staff.

They know whoever the next coach is at Alcorn, he is going to bring in his own people. May as well move along with your old boss and keep them paychecks comming in.

I don't see where Fred has proved himself yet. At least Spears has SWAC championships as an OC and HC. Maybe he will offer Fred a spot on the staff.

by then Air Canada overrated ass would of been graduated. HE will be a soph this season. Oline aint gon just fall out the sky. Alcorn dont have a coach now. their recruitung is going to be beyond terrible.
