It really doesn't matter what association Square has. She's not even working with this search. She didn't pick the committee or even heading the search so that shows you she is really not a factor. I hope she takes an early stage left.

For the last time, I am not the guy you all call Sarge. I'm just someone who knows a little bit about football and that it is not always about the X's and O's.

Alcorn has the talent to make a SWAC Championship run. What irks me more than anything is when we hire a new coach and somewhere he talks about "beating Jackson State" in the press conference. Beating JSU is not Alcorn's season. Beating, Alabama A&M, Alabama State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Southern, Grambling, Valley, PV, and Texas Southern is our first priority. We can't do that unless we take it ONE GAME AT A TIME. I just want a coach who will establish in our player's mindset that you HAVE TO WORK if you want even a chance TO WIN. Sacrifices must be made TODAY so that CHAMPIONS can be made and remembered TOMMORROW and onward.
 
He didn't feel like he would get the job the 1st two times he applied?
Well maybe he knows something different this time. He is confident so maybe is going to be Alcorns new Hire!
Maybe I should give Congrats in advance?

I say it would be to his advantage if he already knew. That way he could already be working on his staff.

With "AIR CANADA" as his QB, give Spears some good receivers, allow him to build the O-Line and the SWAC better watch out!

Dude is young...give him time....I saw some things with him this year in the three games I saw him....he'll be ok....and if Spears gets the gig then I know he will be pretty good and soon...hell look at Bama State's QB and where he brought him from....the Dog house to the Championship Game...and I know that kid at Alcorn is better than him already......

I hope Spears does get the gig and does a great job, only makes the conference better in my opinion....

Only thing is, Spears likes to fish in our honey holes a lot, thats the only concern I have, but competition is good for everybody and Stump better get on his game.....
