Man I had to work at Wal-Mart that night. I was pissed. My coworker was in the band and came in the next day talking about how crunk it was and saying that it was a game worth quitting for. LOL

Nah Frat, they too nice now. You haven't been in so long. You remember the old days. LOL. They practically roll out the hospitality red carpet out to opposing fans. We are nicer SU crew now. We ain't hard as we used to be. Damn shame too. I miss the old Mumford. Every since we started putting up new isht, we done got soft. That video had the old raggedy press box in the stadium then. No new score board. The lights even seemed dimmer back then. Scotlandville mofos roaming around outside the stadium and near campus. LOL. Just HOSTILE. The good ole days.

Now JSU buses were no where near SU campus when yall had your issues. So to blame it on SU and SU fans is not right. LOL. Nobody told yall to be parked in unsavory neighborhoods. That would be like SU having buses parked in the wrong part of Jackson. If my memory is correct. I think JSU was closer to LSU than SU when it happened.

Right, they should be looking at those 'necks' as the culprits. LSU sucked back then, and they had nothing else better to do with their time. Ain't no one from SU had the time back then to find out where JSU football team was staying, get the proper tools, sneak to the hotel site, and then cut the brake lines. lol

C'mon now JR, you know yall Scotlandville hoodlUms sent some "homeboys" out to cut them brake lines. Just like in '96 your Scotlandville hoodlUms had a shootout in the stadium and was shooting across the field on JSU side.

Even if y'all played LSU and showed up late for the game and your bus had to park in South Baton Rouge, it would have gotten the same treatment or worst. As Doc Greggs would always say, "if you are on time you are late. You need to have your azz at the stadium way ahead of time ready to play". Y'all need to blame y'all slow azz driving bus driver for that mess.

In '96, the campus police fired 4 shots in the air by the tennis courts (that was no where near jsu bench) to break up the kappas and the alphas from fighting. (something that was brewing since the beginning of the semester and was bound to happen)

All of that other stuff is just made up stories and excuses.

Seriously not really. We had the title locked up by then and was just on cruise control waiting to see who we would play in the HB, because gram was a sure win that year.

Now you know damn well them cats didn't leave Scotlandville and drive ALL OVER Baton Rouge to go cut some brake lines on some JSU buses. Now had the buses been in Scotlandville then you might have a point. But you were in South BR or close to it. Nobody from SU knew where you were staying. And why cut one bus line. Cut them both.

And the shots were closer to the home side by the tennis courts. In the endzone area closer to SU folks than any JSU fans. The shots were not on the opposite end zone close to where you guys sit.

Nothing like a little gun fire huh? We would hear it time to time when the band would be practicing on the back side of Mumford during my days on the yard. I am sure there was gun shots along Lynch Street and other areas around JSU when you were on the yard. That area is probably better now behind JSU due to expansion. But back in the gap. Nobody was messing around right off your campus. It was just as hood as Scotlandville.
