I know Metrocenter is not on campus. If you had correctly read what I wrote I pointed out that I would love to see yall have a stadium on campus. But the parking is a problem. Logistics would work better behind Metrocenter. Please READ before quoting anything I post.
 
Back to the subject.....

Blue, it does appear that Odums maybe switching to a 4-2-5 defense to better defend against the spread offense and mobile QBs in the Swac. Since both these guys have worked together and both are familiar with that defense, clearly, it's a sensible hire. Hiring the DL coach would only add value to his staff.

I thought they said 4-3, which will be better that the 4-2-5.

You'd better have LBers who can fly in order to cover those spread WRs/RBs. Didn't playing against PVAMU and Hebert's 170 yards receiving show you guys anything? :( I would think a 4-2-5 would be better against the spread. Just my humble opinion.

I agree and would prefer the 4-2-5. We do have a large number of talented LB's coming in this year but most will need some time to develop.

Hebert was an exceptional talent, a DB would also have been pressed to cover that kid. The Swac will certainly showcase some very interesting and enjoyable games this year.
I also prefer the 4-2-5 vs the spread.

Single back or 2 Back Spread, Definitely the 4-2-5

No back spread..... 3-3-5(with one of those LB's being a cross between a Buck and SS)

We have that. I'm old school, I would rather 4-3 lol.
